Enjoyed a 5 night stay in Launceston. We stayed in the two bedroom tamar river view suite which was enormous. It is our second time staying at the Silo hotel and we love it. The rooms are amazing as are the staff. We had a dinner and breakfast each morning at Grains and the food was wonderful. It was my daughter's birthday and she was spoiled with a whole cheesecake and a bottle of bubbly which was very much appreciated. Thanks Peppers Silo hotel for a truely memorable stay.

From warmth of Reception staff member on arrival, to our fabulous room with view over Launceston, the design of building with multiple lounge areas, and the delicious breakfast served by attentive staff, we were very impressed. Only disappointment, we hadn’t booked a longer stay. We will be highly recommending to family and friends.

Sadly, we only had one night but our stay was wonderful. Check-in was seamless with very friendly staff (unfortunately, Archie was having a siesta elsewhere). Location was great with an easy walk to the Seaport. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was hot and strong.

Room all surfaces had dust on it, especially next yo bed on bedside table, which when spending big bucks on room feels not appreciated, being a suite and your up market product it lacked special touch. Was as couple getaway hence extra spent but disappointed Also if you lay on bed the TV remote out of range, getting in and out to find channel...

The room and corridor smelled strongly of fragranced chemicals causing headaches but the smell lessened when we turned off the air con on the second day. The hotel menu had almost no vegetarian options (expect the standard pumpkin ravioli which every unimaginative chef makes to shut up vegos), and it’s not well located to the city centre, although the free parking was good. The staff were friendly, the rooms were a little dusty but otherwise clean, although they were weirdly not designed to make the most of the interesting history of the silos and were pretty generic and relatively expensive compared to other places. The tv didn’t work and the beds had huge hard pillows which I should have asked if they had smaller soft ones but I was over it.
