We only had 1 night and arrived later in the afternoon so not much time to explore however the front desk attendant was attentive and gave us great information on a lovely walking route we could take to explore the riverfront esplanade area. The room was well appointed with laundry and dishwasher. The only thing I'd recommend would be to have some dishwashing soap also handy as we didn't want to run the dishwasher with only 2 plates and cutlery but had to wash without soap. Our view wasn't nice at all... we overlooked the parking lot and as both of us are Personal Travel Managers, this would be something we'd definitely want to advise our clients (to book a room which states CITY VIEW) or you're likely going to be looking at a parkade.

Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The hotel is very well located, and I appreciated the in-room amenities as well as the restaurant facilities. These aspects made the stay convenient and enjoyable. However, the welcome on arrival was somewhat disappointing. After a long day of travelling and flying to Launceston, I found the initial reception unexpectedly cold and rather impersonal. While this did not significantly affect the rest of my stay, a warmer and more welcoming arrival would have made a considerable difference to the overall experience. Apart from this, I was satisfied with the hotel and appreciated the thought that had clearly gone into the room amenities, restaurant and location.

Comfortable stay. Well appointed room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. We thought $50 per night for a rollaway was a bit expensive. Inclusive parking would be great maybe build it into the price. We hope to come back in December

It was alright. I’m an Accor member and get a drink voucher when I stay but the bar and restaurant were closed which was disappointing. The microwave was also covered in someone else’s food which I thought was disgusting and while we had a kitchenette in our room there were no knives or forks or even a bottle opener. Staff were nice and friendly but the standards and expectations need to be raised. I wouldn’t stay there again. I love the Sebel brand and usually choose The Sebel when I travel but this wasn’t on the same level.

It was our second time staying here. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and the rooms just as good. Spacious, well set up with full bathroom, bath and shower, and an adequate kitchen, not that we have ever used it apart from tea and coffee. Service is good but I do feel for the price it could have included the parking which was an additional $10/day.

A gem in Launceston, good location, friendly staff, very comfortable beds and a pleasant room. The Bluestone restaurant didn’t disappoint with beautifully prepared meals for dinner and breakfast. If I have a gripe it’s about their choice of GF bread which is woeful but I coped!!!

A 2 day break in Launceston and we decided to try somewhere different to stay, and we are so glad that we did. The hotel is located a short walk from the town centre and appeared to have plenty of parking on the occasion that we stayed there. The Suite that we stayed in was large, clean and well appointed with a Washer Dryer and a Dishwasher. But, the most outstanding feature for us was the Restaurant. The staff, service, and food were outstanding and we will definitely visit again. It was excellent value for money. Hint - The Restaurant has a traditional Tip Jar which was nice to see, so make sure you have cash to leave a tip. Not many people, (myself included) carry much in the way of cash these days

Location is ideal for staying in the city, great staff and clean facilities. would stay again but just feedback to say that the carpets in our room were well aged and needed replacement, the couch was not very comfortable and the gym needs more dumbbells free weights, from 5kg up to 15kg ideally (and larger gym floor area if the Hotel were ever to renovate..).
