I ordered Eye fillet 250g (MR) with Paris mash, red pepper cream, beef jus, chimichurri and dehydrated vine tomatoes !. What i got was a fillet totally lacking in taste as it had not been seasoned/salted and on the tough side of normality, a small serve of a tray baked sliced potato dish again totally lacking in taste and warm on the outside yet cold on the inner, red pepper cream..didn't see any, no vine tomatoes just a replacement of a luke warm spring onion in some kind of jus. No comment by staff when this was served that the chef had changed the dish from the menu! My wife's brisket was tough and being brisket not cooked enough to tenderize it. Luke warm at best. Both where appalling. I don't expect much when dining in mid range hotels but when added with a bottle of wine about 4 degrees too warm coming out from behind a glass cabinet (it was over 22 degrees i am sure), water served which had been in the carafe by the bar all day, if not longer, which was therefore warm/tepid, (i could go on listing basic service standards not adhered to but i don't blame the untrained team members) it all added up to being one of our worst ever dining experiences. You as General Manager, with the Chef and the F&B leadership are not on top of your F&B brief and should ask Accor for training. We where so hungry we just ate and left as soon as we could, even if we had complained initially i had no faith any thing better would be provided. It is not acceptable for you to offer a F&B product that you are clearly not capable or unable to deliver. Add to this one of the twin beds was squeaky, a friendly enough check in that however lacked any kind of "welcome" so hence a 1 out of 10. A positive, the Housekeeper was very friendly and the room was clean so well done to her and her team. (Two beers we had where not charged BTW which we are just aware of)
