Great location, but I think we got the worst room in the place. I think it was the only one without a balcony and the city view was looking straight into an office windows 5 meters away. Otherwise room was tidy and breakfast was nice.

As a frequent visitor to Launceston, mainly for business, I have stayed at the Sebel on several occasions but the room was the worst one I had been given. I would have expected that a returning customer would have been treated better to encourage further returns. Apparently not. I’ll try somewhere else next trip to Launceston.

Great location, with friendly and helpful reception staff. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was fantastic having our own washer and dryer in the bathroom at no additional cost. The restaurant downstairs was also a great convenience, offering delicious food and a good selection of beverages. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay.

The Sebel launceston is an ok hotel. room was large, bed comfortable with all amentities. However i do struggle with hotel rooms that don't even provide a bottle of water in the room! Check-in and check-out was efficient, however I was charged a restaurant bill that was not mine. Luckily I checked my receipt when it came through - however in one phone call, with a bit of persistence by me, the charge was removed.

Staff were pleasant and helpful, but overall the accommodation was not the usual standard I'd expect from Accor - place looking pretty tired and very different from the photos. Carpet wearing away in the rooms. Very limited crockery/cooking utensils compared to kitchenettes in other, similar properties. Walls were paper thin - I could hear somebody else snoring from 2 rooms away - and this was the main thing I struggled with/reason I wrote this review.

From the time of reservation I felt welcomed. The manager and staff are genuinely friendly and the restaurant food is excellent. The potatoes are a must! The rooms are spotless and beds are very comfortable. Walking distance to the centre and the water. Just a great experience all-round.

Very average, not sure why the Sebel would be listed in Accor’s premium hotels. The room stank of wet/dirty carpet. The furniture/furnishings were basic and not very comfortable or attractive. The bathroom and kitchenette were dated and ugly. Plus the walls were chipped, marked, dirty etc. Fine, did the job but won’t be a return customer unfortunately- will prefer to stay at Peppers.

This hotel is well located and well appointed. it is not flash but it is very comfortable. Very large rooms, well appointed with large fridge, smaller freezer compartment, microwave, good shower with power jet and high temperature, comfortable bed. Basically everything you need.

First booking with Sebel-very much looking forward to the stay- location fantastic walking distance to CBD. Disappointed with check-in, lack of information about accomodation, restaurant, and alternative options due to restaurant not being open- this was found out after I had asked.
