Room 802 had a bath but the plug didn’t fit so had to call to get it fixed, then the water was cold even though we only used the hot tap. The light in the hallway adjoining room 802/803 didn’t turn off which made the rooms to light and our 3 children had a heap of trouble getting to sleep.

After having to reschedule this trip so many times it was great to be able to finally get to Hobart- Taneal was at reception to welcome us and was excellent - very welcoming, great communication and easy check-in process and advice for our stay- I haven’t always had the best experience with Mantra front of house staff but she is a credit to the brand and an excellent example of good and genuine customer service. Housekeeping were also very good.

Adequate; overall enjoyment jeopardize by the lack of services due to COVID-19 constraints; e.g. no catering services and lack of information in room. Also limited comforts in room due to small size. Appeared to be a single room with a double bed; no table and inadequate (for two) seating . Otherwise very clean and staff support services very good. Design of bath/shower installation very poor; typical architect installation lacking in considerations of practicalities of use!

Good location but some logistics problems for customers

We stayed 3 nights. The room was small and at times difficult to navigate at night. The parking arrangements for our car were not satisfactory and expensive. There should be one 24-hour cost and a ticket to allow multiple entries and exists. We did not know ahead of time that the cafe was not open for breakfast on weekends. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Although my room was somewhat small it was still clean and comfortable. My main complaint is the price of parking, however it is within walking distance of most of the CBD

Cons: - no room service for dinner (kitchen is for breakfast only) - parking is not included in room stay fee and is $18 additional if parking overnight and charged every time you put your car in and out. - couch in living area of apartment is very uncomfortable and only for 1 person. Pros: - location is good walking distance for restaurants along the marina area - could see staff sanitising in the morning

Room very comfortable excellent soundproofing, I slept really well. All that you need is there, though I had asked for low fat milk which wasn't in the fridge still as the breakfast was great,I guess that can be forgiven
