I stayed at the Mantra Collins for 3 nights. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I had a quiet room on Level 4. The facilities in the room were excellent. The menu for breakfast very good - lots of healthy options. I cannot make one negative comment.

Here for business as an Accor member wanted somewhere CBD. Location great but sorry, this hotel needs a thorough refurbishment.

Very disappointing with the stay, old pillows, dinted rubbish bin in bathroom, carpet lumps and bumps could not walk without shoes.

I had a great stay at Mantra on Collins in Hobart! The rooms are a great size, very clean, nice amenities, and very friendly staff. I was greeted each time I walked past Reception which made me feel welcome and safe. The hotel is also in a great location - short walk to the waterfront, supermarket, great cafes and restaurants, and so close to a Skybus stop to get to and from the airport. This was my second stay at Mantra on Collins and I will definitely be back on my next visit to Hobart.

A mixed bag. Comfortable, clean room. Floor to ceiling windows, quiet when emergency ambulances and helicopters aren't accessing next door Royal Hobart Hospital. Short walk to the Transport interchange and waterfront. Breakfast available at ground floor cafe, no restaurant however, so no other meals. The Internet was contentious. Difficulty connecting, then even more hassle connecting to the "premium" service for Accor members. When connected, however, it proved to be unstable to the point of near uselessness. I ended up using my mobile connection as a result. There was a mini bar of sorts in that there were placards in the room indication the price of items contained in the mini-bar, except there were none at all in the room refrigerator. It emerged such items had to be obtained from reception. It felt that guests just weren't trusted with it. No bar or food other than breakfast. On the staff side, the reception staff were friendly, helpful and efficient but often couldn't help. It is not a 4 star property, 3.5 star would be more appropriate.
