Room was comfortable and tidy. Something I was too tired to mention was the couch in room 108 has what looks like a blood stain. This should really be cleaned or taken out of service. Was not a nice site at end of day.

The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. We were tempted to take up the concierge’s offer to pay slightly more for a room with a sea view, but we felt we wouldn’t really see the sea. We were happy with being able to see the Spirit.

On the whole the stay was wonderful, I only have 3 small issues, we were in room 301, our trip was for a rest after an exhausting past few months, the Novotel Devonport is one of our favourites, but the door slamming was over the top, morning to night, a few times it made me jump. My 2nd issue is the restaurant, obviously very popular but some people cannot eat all of the spicy food on offer, just a few items without spices would be lovely. My 3rd issue was casting to the TV, it was not very stable. Your staff are amazing, the room was spotless, all of our requests were met with a smile and great helpfulness, due to my illness we didn't go out much, but our vehicle was brought out quickly when we did go out, that valet service is wonderful. I want to thank all the staff at the Novotel for a lovely stay, all of you are amazing and could teach what first class customer service to many other places. I hope that you all have a great day.
