The rooms are looking very dated and could do with smartening up. I’m saying that reception checkin was excellent. Views from room good. Room clean & tidy it just needs modernising!

The place is divine, however when I called on the day to advise that our flight was delayed and we wouldn’t arrive until after 11 pm, I was told there was no booking under my name. I have emails showing that I requested a payment link and was advised to pay on arrival, so this was quite confusing. That said, they did manage to accommodate us with the three rooms we needed. Although they didn’t have the original view we had booked, they were helpful in finding available rooms for us.

- Great location by the river. - Reception staff were polite. - Comfortable bed. - A bit disappointed with the bathroom - there was a bad smell coming from the toilet bowl. I believe it was leaking. Informed reception but nothing was done - no change of room was offered. - As an ACCOR Gold member, i was provided with a bottle of wine and a complimentary chocolate. Unfortunately, the bottle of wine was of shocking quality - Ruffled Feather Shiraz which costs less than $10, not unlike cask wine. Certainly not something i would ever drink. It is a bit insulting to offer it to your guests - i think if one can afford to stay at Peppers, one would have better taste in wine. I understand that members are entitled to a glass of wine - a single serve bottle of better quality wine would have been appreciated much more. [Unfortunately, i thought it was a decent drop and had taken it on tour with me and shared it with some of my fellow travellers who knew it was provided by Peppers - we ended up pouring it down the drain. Not great for the reputation of Peppers / Accor really.] Please re-think your offering.
