Good excellent service from reception. Need improvements: 1) Bathroom sink too small resulting in feet when washing. Interrupted hot water and no hot water for more than 20 mins. 2) Leaking water resulting in very wet bathroom. Thanks to excellent service from reception who provided extra floor map to soak up the leak. Was offered a room change but did not accept as we were checking out early the next day.

Basic, clean, good value for price paid. A bit of a renovated 90’s motel vibe which wasn’t apparent from the website, fine for an overnight stay. Onsite parking was handy, breakfast included as part of a member special, average offering but fine as it was free. Staff were helpful and bubbly which makes for a good experience as someone that stays somewhere different every couple of weeks.

The customer service during our stay was not great. Whilst all staff did ‘their job’ no one went out of their way to make us feel welcome. At check in the staff member stayed at a second counter hidden from view while I waited at the main counter. After some time I noticed her and had to move with my belongings to her - she did not greet me or invite me to come over. Despite being a large hotel our two rooms were located at the top of the stairs and outside the lift and our balconies over looked a walk way and the open communal laundry. One of our bathrooms had no toilet paper on the holder and none in the cupboard - we shared between our two rooms. We ordered drinks before dinner and received “sighs” when ordering a cocktail because the staff member was on her own. At breakfast we were made to feel like a nuisance for asking for hot water as the machine was showing an error message and then again when there were no plates available at the buffet and had to ask for some clean ones.
