The Superior Room with Queen bed and park views was nicely renovated and clean, albeit small, however the bed was a springy, uncomfortable nightmare. Every time my partner moved I woke up, even if he was just twitching. It was like trying to sleep on a trampoline. Apparently all beds are the same variety so changing rooms (which was an option) would not have fixed the problem. Otherwise, the shower was nice but the sink was too small to be functional for face washing or filling a water bottle. There was not enough bench space in the bathroom for two toiletry bags and the black tiles made the additional mirror lighting almost pointless. It was very hard to see to apply makeup. The frosted glass bathroom door also meant that light flooded the room whenever either of us used the bathroom at night. The toilet seat was also broken. The lady who checked me out didn’t ask how my stay was so I forgot to mention the toilet (room 206). I’m very glad we were only there two nights. No park view or waterfall shower compensates for a poor nights sleep, especially when extra energy is required for Cradle Mountain and Cataract Gorge hikes!

- Ok location - Room was ok, but mold in the bathroom roof and there was no safe to store items - Sliced cheese and ham missing from the breakfast, same with vegetables. Continental breakfast was very basic hence.
