There are three sub-regions of Oceania: Micronesia, Melanesia, and Polynesia. These do not cover Australia, although Australia is usually outlined as neighbouring and included in the Oceania region. Likewise, in New Zealand, a mix of capital cities like Auckland and Wellington and towns like Queenstown and Rotorua will make for a rewarding experience.
