This stay was a significant Fail on all accounts. I stay in Tamworth once a month for work. In this instance I chose the no refundable room price as it was the only one available. When I went to change the date, Both ACCOR and the Hotel told me there was no way to change anything. I reluctantly went to Tamworth not wanting to waste my company's money and the room temperature was set to 24degrees on hot day. The AC was externally controlled and no one at the hotel could change it, Nor open a window for me. It was the worst experience Ive had at the Mercure Tamworth and will look at the Rydges loyalty program from now on. If I have to stay at an Accor hotel I will stay at the Ibis.

We booked Mercure Tamworth to accommodate the officials attending our indoor cricket tournament. The booking process was easy; the staff were welcoming and professional, and the accommodation suited our requirements very well. Everything ran smoothly, and we appreciated the service provided. We would happily use Mercure Tamworth again for future tournaments and events.

The room was beautiful however in the mng they only delivered 1 bfast instead of 2 & I had no hot water at all so a cold shower wasn’t very pleasant. There was no offer of a partial refund.
