I chose this hotel in particular because I wanted to be away from the main road, as I find NSW towns tend to have trucks hurtling past and cars hooning around at night. The Mercure was a delight - lovely room, super quiet - I couldn't even hear other guests doors opening and closing in the hallway. The gym is sufficient, the pool was wonderful. Staff were lovely. Would absolutely stay again!

Being situated right next to the leagues club you have all you can ask for in terms on dining options, pub style meals with faily specials and a cafe with all the teimming you can ask for to pair with your tea or coffee. The towels provided for use with the gorgeous pool was a nice addition. I say that because I have been at venues where they have a pool without the provided towels. An inconvenience when you're on holidays or just passing through and don't have the little things on you. The grounds were well maintained with luscious green grass sprawling across the adjacent footy field. You got a real sense of pride in what they had. This was apparent with the walkthrough history display of the towns high achievers on the footy field. They also had a well equipped gym with a rower, bike, treadmil, pin loaded multi gym, free weights and yoga equipment. Everything was is excellent working order and intuitive to use. I would consider all mercure hotels in my future travels as this establishment has left me with nothing but positive experiences and an expectation of high quality service. P.s, I gave it a 9 out of 10 purely because I believe there is always room for improvement, however, they met and exceeded my expectations. Special thanks to the employees at mercure and West's leagues club for you hospitality and warm welcome. See uou guys on the next trip 🙏
