Barron Falls Lookout This one will require some travel outside of Palm Cove but this lookout is one of the most popular in all of North Queensland and it's easy to see why. Located in Barron Gorge National Park, this spot overlooks Barron Falls in all their glory and will make you feel small and marvel at the power of nature. It's only a gentle, quick hike through the forest so this is an activity suited for most. Of course for those who are more active, they can continue hiking through the rainforest for the day.

Kayak to Double Island Just off the coast of Palm Cove is the beautiful Double Island.
