Really comfortable room, great position. The only thing that would have been better if the frosting on the glass on the patio , did not go up so high, so we could have had a view.

Our bed was comfortable. It was walking distance from the train station. The room was spacious. There was easy access to the restaurant. The lady on arrival didn’t know how to check us in with a gift card so we had to wait for someone else to be served before us that just walked in. My gift card had an extended expiry date & I booked the stay before the new expiry date not realising I had to also redeem the card upon booking. When we checked out the lady said she cannot use the gift card & that I needed to pay for my stay. I told her I would ring Accor first thing in the morning the next day to sort this out & so I left. I received 5 phone calls from the hotel after I left with the 5th call telling me my gift card cannot be accepted & they will not wait until Monday morning for me to sort this out with Accor. They told me they are going to charge my card but my card declined because I didn’t have money in there for the hotel stay. These calls all occurred whilst I was trying to spend time with my kids on Mother’s Day. It was so distressing thinking about paying this money knowing very well the issue would be resolved in a matter of hours after speaking with Accor. I did ring Accor the next day who instantly helped me by extending my gift card expiry date to allow me to pay for my hotel stay. I rang the hotel & the gift card worked. Most distressing end to a hotel stay ever.
