I would have ignored all the other faults had they simply returned my call from 2 days prior to check in, which was to confirm the check in process. But since they didn't and I found myself outside the place in the dark at midnight. Here are the other issues, fridge was non-functional, which was reported on the first morning and was not fixed during my 3-night stay. They don't have a bar, so the welcome drink didn't exist. Room wise the room was good and clean. The desk staff was the worst I have ever had at an Accor motel.

Enjoyed our stay at the Mercure, beds were comfortable. Within walking distance to shops ,cafes and park. Only fault was that we werent informed there wasnt any housekeeping on the Friday which was a public holiday. As we werent aware we had placed our towels on the floor, so we needed clean towels.

Hi, I have always enjoyed staying at Mercure properties, which is why I was quite disappointed with my recent experience at Mercure Warragul. I have stayed here before and have always found the service and experience to be very good, so this visit was particularly surprising. Firstly, I was allocated an accessible room, which I was not expecting. Unfortunately, the bathroom vanity was also in poor condition and appeared to be broken. There were even clips/pieces from the vanity visible on the bathroom floor, which was not a very pleasant first impression and made the room feel as though it had not been properly inspected before my arrival. Secondly, I am an Accor Silver member, and I was surprised that the staff did not mention my membership benefits or offer the associated welcome drink. On my second day, I asked the receptionist about the beverage benefit. She advised me that there should have been a bottle of red wine waiting for me in the room. I explained that there was no wine provided, and she kindly went to the back of house to check and see if there were any drinks available. Unfortunately, there was nothing available. I told her not to worry about it, as I was happy with a soft drink anyway. However, I felt that this should have been communicated and arranged when I checked in, particularly as a Silver member. I understand that things can occasionally be overlooked, and I appreciate that the staff member tried to assist when I raised the issue. However, considering my previous positive experiences with Mercure Warragul, I was disappointed by the condition of the room and the lack of recognition of my Accor membership benefits on this occasion. Everything was fine with the one exception, the underground car parking leaves a lot to be desired, the car parking spaces are too narrow and invite damages to the car's doors by other car doors being banged into one's doors by other careless drivers.
