My room was clean and very well appointed with modern facilities. Bed was very comfortable and shower hot and good pressure. The view over the parkland and river was lovely to wake up to.

size, location of room etc. great - however despite non-smoking signs, the room reeked of cigarette smoke and left my clothes/gear stinking of it. could not air it out.

I've got absolutely nothing to complain about, the room was very clean, very comfortable, and had all the utilities you would need. The shower was nice and hot and behind a glass door. The rest of the bathroom was well equipped, it was very nice and welcoming right down to the folded in toilet paper, those little touches that show that the staff care about everything. The view from the room was also very pleasant and relaxing, with lots of greenery and the hills in the background. The location is very close to town, one of the closest, so it's very easy to have a night in the town and walk home comfortably. I can't think of anything to complain about. The only reason I would choose someone else when visiting Tamworth again next time would be if I had my dog with me in which case I would need to choose a dog friendly motel.
