We stayed here for two nights in November 2024. The hotel is located near the shopping area. The reception is on second floor intertwined within the lounge. The two Lifts are small. The reception staff was good and pleasant. The room was basic with no cupboards but shelves but is was sufficient for our needs. The room was clean and housekeeping was good. The hotel has no restaurant but bar and lounge for snacks. Breakfast spread was frugal but value for money. Porto town is good for shopping and most of the shopping area is accessible within 30 minutes, although it is little up and downhill. The checkin and checkout was smooth. Overall value for money.

Roomy enough but lighting is poor. Bathroom is big enough but there is nowhere to hang anything, just 2 hooks for towels and it is supposed to lodge 4 persons. Weirdly enough that the wash basin is outside the bathroom. The fridge is supposed to be replenished everyday. However, if we don't raise the issue, we were left alone without the replenishing.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ibis Bolhão. A Ibis hotel unique in its kind because it doesn't have standard Ibis rooms. There's a modern industrial feel to it. The check-in experience was fast. Great breakfast and bar/breakfast area. The bed was extremely comfy and all of the staff was very welcoming! Besides, the location is super central, right next to the open market and the metro stop Bolhão is just a 4min walk away. Perfect for the trip from and to the airport with Line E (28min approximately). This hotel would definitely be my first choice on my next visit to Porto.
