The young front desk lady accused us of stealing the towels but in our country if we don’t have enough towels in the room, we can just take them. I explained this cultural difference to her and vowed to her we will never steal anything in name of Jesus Christ and said sorry. She told me there is extra towel in the room and then as per her instructions I found the towel bag which means we didn’t even know there is extra towel. （so why didn’t your front desk lady tell us when we check in?）So later she used the word ‘take away’ instead of ‘steal’. I mean she can be more tolerant when dealing with such situation and try to be nice and patient to tourists as we may not know your hotel rules instead of directly accusing us and using the strong word ‘steal’. Maybe she is young which I can understand, but this is never the right way as customer service. We don’t ‘steal’ anything and never will as we believe in hells and heaven. We will go to heaven upon death. We will always ponder over our actions in this life. Besides, there is always running water in the toilet even after the maintenance staff came and tried to fix it.

We stayed 4 nights and had amazing time. We did not use a lot of other services provided at hotel. The prices seemed to be bit steep for the food, but in terms of the rooms, it was as comfortable as it could be.

Although the location was excellent and the staff were very friendly, the heating, even at its maximum, couldn’t quite counter the chilly winter weather in Porto.
