Nice hotel. We like the location. 20 mins walk to a big shopping centre and 30 mins walk along the river to Porto. If you like walking, I recommend this hotel. Ubers are cheap to get around too. If you don’t like the walking. Nice breakfast (kids free if 2 adults pay). And nice pool too. Hotel a little bit outdated but that didn’t bother us.

I liked the hotel itself, the room; everything was beautiful and clean. But I didn't like the staff. I waited at the reception desk for 30 minutes, waiting for the receptionist to finish talking so I could check in. They ignored me while they were on the phone. Another day, I needed cutlery. I asked at reception, and they told me to ask in the restaurant. There was no one there. The receptionist said they weren't responsible for cutlery and said a staff member would be there soon. I had to wait another 20-30 minutes just to get a fork. For a 4 star hotel this is terrible.

Staff were great. We wished we had a chance to hang out at the pool. The building is dated but our room was updated. It was a good place to crash after a long day in the city.
