ibis Porto São João Hotel 2 stars

Bad night due to noise coming from air shafts of my room. In the beginnning It seem the noise came from the exterior (but no); them it seemed it was originated by the air conditioning (but no) and finally I confirmed it was from the origin previouly mentioned. Realy had a bad night.

Very well located hotel and very good quality-price relation.

I have stayed in your hotels before, in europe, i.e. Belgium and in other cities. Also in Portugal i,e Caxias, Porto etc. You have my preference.

The room was very clean, quiet place to have a good rest and very kind staff

The room was comfortable quiet and I slept well on the bed. The shower was good. The hotel was 5 mins from my meeting venue so was convenient.

Very welcome by the staff, clean room and a special gift waiting for me (apple, orange and a bottle of water).

Room and service were good. Staff was friendly. Only stayed one night as a stop-over to fly out of Porto airport next morning. Taxi order request was carried out efficiently. Have stayed here before and will do so again.

Easy access to university, metro, grocery store, etc

Room was not cleaned properly, as well as the bathroom with a melt inside. Maid did not care about that after I told it to her. As a gold member we didn't reveive welcome drink which should be obligatory.

We came by car to the hotel, and then used the nearby Metro Station to visit Porto. Sleep quality was just great ! Breakfast buffet was as expected (coffee, boiled eggs, yogurt, etc.). Hotel is recommended for travelers with a car since it has car-parking and quick access to highways outside of Porto.

I stayed for a week at Ibis Porto Sao Joao in Porto. I was very happy with my room; it was small, but clean, elegant & cozy. I really loved that the bathroom had a shower cabin rather than a bathtub. The physical structure of the hotel on the outside and in the lobby was also very neat, attractive, enjoyable and relaxing. All personnel in the hotel was extremely friendly and eager to help. The breakfast offered by the hotel was very rich and beautifully organized. I loved the grocery store on the first floor below the hotel (the hotel was on the 3rd floor; there was an elevator). I could buy mineral water and other stuff. On the second floor, there were a variety of places where you can buy fast food, but I chose to try Portuguese meals. I loved the hotel's location. The metro was very close to the entrance of the first floor where the grocery store and the mall were. I took it every day to the city center. The hotel was also very close to the University of Porto, Faculty of Engineering, where my conference was, 5 min by foot. Still my most unforgettable memory would be the friendliness of the Portuguese people at this hotel and in general. Thank you very much!

Good location, parking lot in front, though not easy to find the entrance. Good connection to Center by metro (don't drive in the city). Being built atop a commercial center one has easy access to a supermarket, shops and services.

i stayed here for two nights due to business and was satified as usual from ibis. room was clean, bed was ok and breakfast was nice. they had even portoguse egg tart for breakfast which i enjoyed very much.
