Whatever systems yo are using or trying to save cost on cooling rooms are suffocating even during winters as there are no Air conditioners nor any fans available as a back up .Its easy to say that SORRY we dont have AC but if its a 4 star Accor property ,you should have one and if not invest in it .As you would understand sleep is the most important for a hotels stay and if we have to sleep by keeping windows open and try to sleep in minimum clothing so we get sleep then you seriously have a issue which you cannot avoid and I have heard other guests also complain about this .Second house keeping needs to refill the stock of teas which are getting used ,as it is common sense that guests prefer a particular tea and even after informing the reception the house keeping does not fill the tea ,in my case it was English breakfast and everytime after coming in the room in the night I had to go down at the bar to collect it ,poor attention to detail and service

Is is not the first time you stay with us and I am very surprised by your comments! Regarding the AC, as you well know, there was no problem with your room, if only you had it switched on. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as part of a visit to Northern Portugal. The first thing I would like to point out is its location. It is located a few kilometers outside of Porto, very close to the motorway, so the connection to the city is quite easy. In the wider area there is a shopping centre where you can find everything. There are also bus lines for the city but not a metro station. Anyway, in my opinion, staying at this time in a hotel in the city, with the numerous construction projects under way, the traffic congestion and at a much higher price, is not advisable. Because of the general circumstances, I had not stayed in a Mercure for several years. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chain not only maintains the standard it has always had, but has improved. The building is in very good condition, the room very spacious, quiet, very well equipped, and with a pleasant view, as requested. Breakfast is very good as always, both in variety and quality. And the restaurant-bar, whenever we used it was satisfactory. I would like to make special mention of the staff. A group of young people who with their kindness and professionalism responded very satisfactorily to everything we needed, from check in to our departure, and who with their instructions made our stay better. Yes, we would stay at this hotel again if given the opportunity.
