Good hotel, clean and modern. Anyway, we were very disappointed not to be able to cancel one breakfast, so that we paid 2 breakfast for nothing. It is not understandable that the cancellation was not possible.

The location was not the most convenient but the hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The building itself may be a little old? And if there can be more variety for breakfast it may be better.

The hotel is not crowded and offers an abundant breakfast selection, including freshly made omelettes and fresh orange juice. It's fantastic that as welcome drink they poffer a glass of port wine. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable. The only problem is getting to the Old Town: Porto has a lot of traffic jams, and it is expensive to take an Uber or Bolt (it is not easy to find an available taxi either).

Just located on other side of bridge from Porto, due to construction, only reachable via cabs, else you have to walk a good 10-20 mins to reach there. 5 mins walk to the nearby mall, so everything available closer. Rooms are big and clean.

staying with friends for a 2 night break on a weekend - good location - albeit had to get taxi to old town but good for relaxation and being away from the centre despite being in midst of major roadworks !

A fine, large room...good beds...modern bathroom, plenty of hot water. Easy free parking outside on street...wonderful shopping centre 50 metres from Mercure front door...with innumerable places to eat.
