Comfortable beds, clean but the reason we booked in was respite from the heat… we didn’t get any. We complained but nothing changed and no one told us even if they had tried to fix it. It is so close to a major road it is too loud to open the window.

One night stay before joining a river cruise. Was ok for that purpose but wouldn’t choose to stay any longer. Room basic but adequate, very clean, quiet with air conditioning and comfortable beds.

Ibis Budget is a very good budget hotel on the other side of Douro. It is easy to get to Porto by bus from here, though traffic is hectic during rush hours. The morning breakfast is serviceable for a non-Portuguese traveller, but this is representative of breakfasts in Portuguese hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It’s nice to stay in a familiar hotel name when travelling to a new place. However, the shower design in this hotel is weird, water drops from the glass door and it’s messy. Also there’s no hairdryer, slippers provided.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. I t was conveniently located near 2 other ALL properties that had amenities (like a full restaurant) I was able to have dinner or lunch at (a la carte) when needed. Unfortunately, my planned activities were in the center of Porto. So, I wasn’t able to take advantage of being in Gaia. I didn’t know before that this wasn’t so close to central Porto. Overall, the location was good, it was quiet and the staff was nice

The price is relatively cheap, but nonetheless services are not good enough. Ok for the room (although it's not very good in terms of noise isolation - you can barely listen to others' conversations), but breakfast is very limited, it's not worth the extra cost on the room. It's not what I'm expecting by accor brand. Besides, it's not even granting any point for the loyalty program. I'm not happy at all. At least staff was friendly.
