Great location for exploring Porto. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Lovely views from the rooftop bar but it doesn’t always open if the weather isn’t good. There is also Lift rooftop bar at the Santa Catarina shopping centre. Short walk to the Ponte Luis bridge (where you can pick up the cable car on the other side) and the funicular down to the Ribeira. Bridges boat tour (50 mins) from the Ribeira side is worth doing. Cafe Java just along from the hotel was nice for a cheap drink. Porto is very steep and hilly so be prepared!

I stayed for five nights and was impressed by the hotel agent. The front desk staff were so kind and friendly. The housekeeping staff are very professional, too. One time there was a bug in the room and one of the staff caught it :) Next time I visit Porto, I will not hesitate to stay here

Great location, hotel staff was top notch, the lobby was very nice and modern. The roof terrace was amazing to get a few drinks watch the sunset and amazing city views! But…… the room a/c was subpar, room was hot, tried two different rooms for three peeple but all woth the same problem. Finally opted for a fan in the room which helped solved the problem! Staff was great about it but little they can do until hotel decides to change/upgrade the a/c in the rooms.

Check-in was great and I was upgraded to a room with a view of the old town. I chose the closest train station but didn't appreciate that the hotel was at the top of the hill so luckily I only had a small case. For some reason I also thought that there was a pool at the hotel. The green garden on the roof top was nice but there was nowhere to buy food or drinks when you were there.
