I stayed at Mecure Santa Catarina Porto for 7 nights as a solo traveller. The location enabled me to do everything I wanted in Porto. The hotel was comfortable and staff friendly. Breakfast was plentiful although a bit repetitive after 7 days as there was not much variety. Happy hour was attractive but I was surprised how few people came each day. Room cleaning was very good although often very late in the day. The evening meal offered for 17€ was good value. Staff member at Reception Susannah was excellent and very warm and professional certainly worth a mention!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The check-in process was very smooth and all of the employees were super friendly and helpful. There is a nice bar where you can order drinks and sit in the lounge or take them to the rooftop to enjoy. They even have happy hour! The breakfasts (not included in our stay but reasonable prices) were the best we had anywhere! We enjoyed our visit!!!

The staff was very personable. Anytime we needed help they quickly were there to help us whether our needs in the room or directions for a day out on the town. The breakfast was totally amazing! It exceeded our expectations! The room was cleaned daily to perfection!

Check in was fast. Staffs were friendly. We were upgraded to a larger room. Very spacious. Clean and tidy. Location was good. It only took 10 to 15 minutes walking distance to river side.

Room was nice and clean, welcoming staff, breakfast was good. The only thing was that it took you 30 minutes to bring me slippers, and the mattress was too hard.

A very welcoming hotel in a great location. Comfortable bed and quiet. Very good breakfast. The staff went out of their way to help my wife who injured her back the previous day.

The hotel rooms were a little tired, and felt dark. This could have been just the side of the hotel we were on but looking directly across a narrow street into another building wasn't great. It made the room dark. Everything else was OK but it still felt old and tired. The location however is great, and the staff were lovely.
