Hotel is great for a short stay in Lisbon with easy access to the metro and local buses. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good included (cold/continental) breakfast and a very limited menu for dinner should you require it. It would be great if there was a kettle in the rooms. Also our used paper cups were not replaced after we used them. Otherwise, great value.

Comfortable bed and clean (presumably recently refurbished) room. Some refurbishment works going on but this only affected us one afternoon of our 5 night stay when we went back for an afternoon nap. I assume that the room has recently been refurbished as there was a massive hole in the wall around the pipes leading to the new air conditioning unit which hadn't been filled. The TV had been put on the wall in a really poor manner and felt as though with one bump from a child the TV would come crashing down. It also faced up towards the ceiling rather than flat or downwards facing and was on an angle so the TV was not even straight and level across the top! Overall just cheap, poor workmanship from the contractors completing the work. In the bathroom there was mould growing between the sink and the shower just above the floor and also between the window in the shower and the floor. Not sure why they haven't tiled this area to prevent mould from growing back while they were doing the renovations. The mould growth was helped along by the fact that housekeeping closed the window most days after cleaning so the moisture had no way to escape. Breakfast was yummy although it was repetitive and didn't change at all over the 5 nights but there was enough food there that with some imagination you could eat different foods each day to prevent boredom. On one evening we came back to the hotel from sightseeing and I'm not sure if there was a sewarage leak or someone had had an accident but staff were diligently cleaning up human faeces in the elevator lobby however the smell was VILE. Everyday of our stay we left our towels hanging on the hook to be reused as per the card hanging in the bathroom requesting guests reuse towels to help the environment, however every day our towels were replaced which is poor for the environment and goes against Accor Hotels policy and request! A towel is good for more than just 1 shower/day! Would I stay again? If the price was right (cheap), yes I probably would.

Our rooms have been renovated for some time, but we are installing a new air conditioning system. You could have warned of the fact that the tv is not well placed because we would quickly fix the problem, i'm sorry for that. I inform you that we have programmed a total renovation of our bathrooms, thanks for warning us because we will notice immediately. Effectively we had a problem with one of the hotel's sewer pipes, it was really complicated for us and for you, due to the works one of the pipes burst, but we were able to quickly solve the problem. We will provide more training mainly to the people who clean the rooms about the planet 21 program, if you left the towels hanging they should never have changed. In May the works will have finished and we’ll have fantastic rooms on the 9th and 10th floor with an INCREDIBLE view over the city of Lisbon, we wait for you for a new and different experience in our hotel. During our December 2019 stay the staff from the ibis Styles Lisboa Centro Liberdade NE have delivered superb customer service and assistance in every single respect. Based on a very satisfactory previous stay for business, I decided to return to this hotel with my family for a Christmas time visit to Lisbon. The staff has been extremely helpful, courteous, and patient. When we were unexpectedly confronted with a breakdown of our rental vehicle while parked at the hotel, the front office courteously and patiently helped with the communication in Portugese with the mechanic that was dispatched by the rental company The front office associate also gave invaluable tourist advice for visiting Sintra and Pena Palace (parking our car at the station and use a shuttle bus) as well as a very helpful parking tip for our visit to Belém. These helpful tips allowed us to save much time looking for parking and spend the maximum time visiting our destinations. The staff truly deserves the highest praise for their helpfulness and courteousness. They set an example for many in the hotel industry and the Ibis managent can truly be proud to have these ambassadors to Lisbon as their employees. The hotel staff has made our stay spectacular and I highly recommend staying at the ibis Styles Lisboa Centro Liberdade NE when visiting Lisbon.

The welcome, but also ongoing support from the team was amazing. We really felt welcome and special during our stay. Big thanks for that again! While we stayed at this hotel (November, 2019), however, there were some construction work ongoing, which was sometimes a little bit bothering. However, this is just a temporary state. In general the room were very modern and nice decorated. Breakfast was also really good with a lot of choices. We can really recommend this hotel.

Building work disruption

We were very disappointed that we weren’t made aware of the building work taking place and that the roof top bar would be closed. On our second day I said to a member of staff ‘should we have been told?’ And he said ‘what do you think?’. In our room the towel rail was hanging off the wall as was the light fitting by the bed. We would not have chosen the hotel if we had known what the building work entailed and were very disappointed this wasn’t made clear to us.

We stayed for 3 nights. The room was nice and spacious, but the temperature was kept to high. We complained at reception but they said there was nothing to be done because the air conditioning was set to heat only. We even got respiratory problems since the air was too warm and consequently dry. The hotel is under renovation and this should have been told at the time of the reservation. Breakfast is repetitive but ok!

We spent 5 nights here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was great and close to everything we wanted. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We would have enjoyed some warm food at breakfast, but the choices were quite nice.

Good Location .Staff really friendly. Check in ,check out was smooth. Room is clean .Elevator is really slow ,and was twice out of order in 4 days. Room was clean . Breakfast was ok but just ok. Don'thave a hot selection. Set up was little bit with out concept. Breakfast service staff super friendly. Food quality ok . Room enough big and clan. Technically is not that good. Lot of flooding marks on the wall. We had two television but not one was linear mounted on the wall. Bienvenue booking was more expensive (we tired on telephone too )as Booking .com .
