We have booked for 2 nights as a platinum member but we were not serve as platinum member.

It was raining the 3 days i was there and all 3 days i checked for umbrella multiple times and i was told it wasnt available - no effort was made afterwards. I feel for a place where it rains a lot, having a basic thing like umbrella is a must plus the attitude of indifference is what was unpleasant to me. Room was fine - lobby and gym under renovation which wasnt mentioned and i couldn't use gym. I feel the price i paid was unfair as a gold member -

I was told when I booked that the renovations would be over, they are not, be warned. Apart from little hiccups with the room, (not enough cups or glasses for 3) our experience was positive, mainly because of the staff who were very good, even the builders who always greeted us with Bom Dia when we met. Breakfast in a shabby old meeting room was very good, wonderful fruit, bread, pastries & coffee. I am sure it will be a good hotel when the renovations are finished but at the moment it should be priced as a basic 3star hotel with no amenities to speak of. We hope you keep all your friendly, happy staff by the time the hotel is finally ready.

Stayed for 3 nights, and I'm an Accor member for I think 18 years, so I've experienced many Novotels in my life across Europe, Middle East and Asia, and frankly I couldn't have imagined this level of experience in this brand. Firstly, technical condition is catastrophic, and I don't recall seeing anything worse ever. Ventilation system in the room generates noise level comparable to that of an old aircraft, and even with that noise it barely does its job. If you switch it off for the night, and in the morning, even if you switch it back on - it's unable to remove humidity for hours, and you experience "Thailand" in your room till about lunchtime. Of course I complained the first day, but we were told "it was the design and nothing could be done". Secondly, the stuff failed to solve even smaller issues. The first morning we discovered that a hairdryer didn't switch on - we went for breakfast and I asked the reception to replace one, we returned from breakfast in 30-40 minutes - nothing. Then I called the reception and asked again, we were dressing up for another 30-40 minutes, but no one came, so my wife had to go out with wet hair. I said that again to the reception when we were going out, politely emphasizing that it had been 1 hour since I had asked, but they replied to me that they "could not guarantee resolution speed". I think I rarely see such indifference from the stuff anywhere in the world. When we returned in the evening - imagine what - the same broken hairdryer was still there. Moreover, dirty cups were not cleaned and a water bottle was not replaced, although the bed was made. A better shift was that night and when I called again, the hairdryer was replaced within 10 minutes, we got clean cups and water. But guess what - on the second day when we returned - we faced the same dirty cups and no water - at that time we realized that it had not been an accident the previous night, rather a way of doing business. We had our own water, so we just let it slide at that point, because I lost the ability to argue with them any more. The last day it looked like they tried to recover. The parking machine didn't work and they gave us free parking for 1 night, but that was not compensating the experience. BTW, be aware that parking here doesn't work as it normally works in hotels: when you pay per night and then leave and come back as many times as you need. Here it works per hour as any generic parking - you'll have to pay every time you go out, and then you'll be charged a nightly fee on top when you stay for 6+ hours. So, the indicated price is valid only if you arrive and leave once per day, and it's less than 24 hrs between your arrival and departure, otherwise you'll pay much more. On top of that, I can't call it 4-star breakfast - choice is poor, cappuccino is from powdered milk, food quality is 3/5.

We had looked forward to use the swimming pool, but it was closed. Our opinion is that the hotel could announce this in the information or in the hotel`s web side.
