Well located basic room served its purpose. Staff was exceptional. We enjoyed their smiles, courtesies, and language lessons! They were especially helpful on the phone when we had to make several last minute changes. Our one concern was the way the flimsy, foam bed mattresses would slide apart. We were constantly concerned about sliding off the side of the bed in the middle of the night or while sitting down on the side of the bed. (There was only one chair in the room for two people.)

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, with convenient access to two subway lines. The property is clean and well maintained, and the staff are exceptionally courteous and attentive. The only aspect that could be improved is the availability of a minibar in the guest rooms. Having stayed at numerous Ibis hotels around the world on many occasions, this was the first time I encountered a room that did not include a minibar. Adding this amenity would further enhance the overall guest experience.

As a gold member , as clearly stated in the Accor website that the full payment for the stay should be made at the hotel., yet IBIS just deducted the first night stay without authorisation ..

Dear Guest, As explained to you both in person and in writing, when making your reservation you provided a credit card as a guarantee. In accordance with the procedures, prior to your arrival date, the amount corresponding to the first night of each reserved room was charged to that card. Upon arrival at the hotel, guests are only required to settle the remaining balance of their stay. Should you prefer, the amount charged in advance can be refunded, allowing payment to be made using a different card or in cash. This procedure is the method used to validate the reservation guarantee provided. We regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused and are sorry that your evaluation of our hotel focused solely on this procedure, particularly considering that the charged amount was subsequently refunded, as evidenced by the documentation provided to you. We stayed 4 days at ibis Lisboa Centro Liberdade and had a good experience. The room was nice and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The location is very convenient — within walking distance to Bairro Alto, and close to the metro, which makes it easy to explore the city. There are also supermarkets nearby, which is very practical. Overall, a good option in Lisbon, especially for its location and value.
