A whole different view of Lisbon for our two-night stay before moving on. We liked having several options of Metro stops nearby, including one on the Red line from the airport. In typical Ibis fashion, the breakfast was excellent, with natas to enjoy; the bed was comfortable, and the staff pleasant and helpful.

Excellent value Hotel in a good location with easy access to transport hubs - Metro, bus and train (for Sintra), and Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and Zoo. Several decent restaurants within short walking distance.

The hotel has rooms over 10 (or maybe more) floors. Rooms are comfortable for the hotel star rating. The main thing you require for a good sleep is a comfortable and snug bed, which this hotel has. The TV is a good entertainment feature in the room, and in the lobby the bar is quite good as it also serves hot drinks. I found the reception staff to be friendly and informative. Location wise, the hotel is a 5/6 mins walk to the Metro station and once on the metro you can be in the heart of Lisbon in 10 mins. Az line (blue line).

The hotel room was decent, but the air condition was faulty and the room was too warm in spite of maximum cooling (even in November)! On two of our four nights of stay our key cards did not work when returning to the hotel at the evening. We had to get back down to reception and have the key cards re-written. We would at least have expected an apology for our inconvenience! The breakfast was not good value for money.
