I got surprised as I had made my reservation directly in the Accor website for 02 adults and 02 children, but I was shocked by the time I arrived at the hotel and acknowledged that my son who is 14 year old was classified as Adult, so I needed to pay more for his stay, but I trusted in the reservation made in the Accor website and trusted that I would pay for the total cost highlighted in the reservation confirmation email. Plus, the website just allowed to pruchase one breakfast, which I trusted verubody was included, but again I was informed by the hotel staff that the breakfast included only one Adult. Again I needed to pay more for something I was not expecting for according to the total cost in the reservation confirmation email because of an error in the reservation system which beloings to Ibis. So, totally dishonest and I should sue the Hotel for the awful experience and unfairness.

Dear CESAR D., Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the ibis Lisboa Jose Malhoa. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. I have just made a reservation "test" to see what could have happened and there is definitely not a space to place the child breakfast (upto 12 years old) BUT if you place that one child is 14 years old in the beginning of your reservation, the option for the breakfast does appear you must "add" the option for room 1 and room 2. On the screen of your reservation it appears child age 3 and 9 years, did you perhaps make a mistake when puting in the children´s age? We appologize for this misunderstanding, it is perhaps not very clear on-line for family member rates. We are going to check with our IT deparment where we can make changes to our website to prevent this confusion happening again,. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely, Sofia Marques

A whole different view of Lisbon for our two-night stay before moving on. We liked having several options of Metro stops nearby, including one on the Red line from the airport. In typical Ibis fashion, the breakfast was excellent, with natas to enjoy; the bed was comfortable, and the staff pleasant and helpful.

Excellent value Hotel in a good location with easy access to transport hubs - Metro, bus and train (for Sintra), and Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and Zoo. Several decent restaurants within short walking distance.

Nice comfortable hotel in the right location for a pocket friendly room rate

The hotel has rooms over 10 (or maybe more) floors. Rooms are comfortable for the hotel star rating. The main thing you require for a good sleep is a comfortable and snug bed, which this hotel has. The TV is a good entertainment feature in the room, and in the lobby the bar is quite good as it also serves hot drinks. I found the reception staff to be friendly and informative. Location wise, the hotel is a 5/6 mins walk to the Metro station and once on the metro you can be in the heart of Lisbon in 10 mins. Az line (blue line).
