Good facilities and very helpful staff. The only negative was a 20min wait to check in on arrival.

I agree with the other reviewers. This hotel is dated, the bed was not comfortable and dipped in the middle. The rooms are small, to note I had a classic twin room.

I recently stayed at the Sofitel Lisbon and, overall, the hotel lives up to its reputation. However, I feel the breakfast service falls short of what you’d expect at this level. The staff seemed underprepared and a bit overwhelmed — slow to clear tables, attend to requests, and keep the buffet stocked. For a property of this standard, the morning service really needs to be sharper and more attentive. With better-trained staff, the breakfast experience could easily match the quality of the rest of the hotel. I hope management takes a look at this, as it’s the one area that let an otherwise excellent stay down.

The only disadvantage of the position of the hotel was the difficulty of the bus access at times especially during the festivities. Service was good.
