The room was so small, there was no room to put luggage or belongings, very uncomfortable. Sink handle kept breaking. Beds were good though. Front desk help friendly but no very helpful. Do not recommend for the price.

We loved the location, decor and feel of the hotel. We were not happy that the shower did not drain and we had to cut our showers short for fear of the water overflowing into the bathroom. Secondly, we would have loved to eat dinner on the rooftop but there was not one vegetarian entree option.

Everything was perfect, the only thing missing for me for a quiet place to work and a desk and chair in the room to work. Rest the staff is really attentive and take care of you, they are supernice. I tried the food and i enjoyed that as well. Thank you guys

Would be a 10 but our last night there was loud thumping, potentially construction on the rooftop. We were floor 8 and were unable to sleep until after midnight.

We stayed at Mama Shelter Lisbon as a couple from 25 to 28 August and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city, and the interior design is absolutely beautiful, full of character, color, and unique details that make it stand out from standard hotels. The rooftop bar was one of our favourite spots, with a great atmosphere and lovely views over the city. We also really enjoyed the bar and social areas downstairs, where DJs created a fun and lively vibe in the evenings. It gave the hotel a cool, energetic feel without being too much. A stylish, vibrant hotel that's perfect for couples looking for a memorable stay in Lisbon. We'd definitely come back! ❤️

In a great location to get around the city. Staff helpful at reception. Housekeeping missed our room one day. Comfortable beds. Bathroom is open in the suites, so little privacy, other than the wc.

I spent 5 days at Mama Shelter Lisboa and delighted in everything! The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is gorgeous and conveniently located near the Rato metro station in a cool, chill neighborhood. The design around the hotel was playful and eclectic and the room super comfortable and chic. It’s a nice hotel well located. Air con is not impressive dunno how it can work on a real hot day.

Dear Nuno, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your continued loyalty as an ALL Gold member. We're sorry to hear that your experience fell short of your expectations. We understand how disappointing it can be when there is uncertainty around upgrade availability and when the communication regarding your late check-out isn't as seamless as it should be. Your comments have been carefully noted and shared with our team, as providing a smooth and consistent guest experience is something we take very seriously. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide the warm, effortless stay that every Mama guest deserves. Mama ❤️ You! Isadora Garcia Front Office Supervisor

Cool hotel - stayed many times.

Dear Phil, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and for choosing Mama again and again. It truly means a lot to know that you’ve stayed with us many times and that you enjoy the Mama vibe. We’re sorry to hear that some details during your stay did not feel quite right, especially regarding the smell you noticed in the elevator and rooms. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we’ll make sure to share it with the relevant teams so we can look into it carefully. We hope to welcome you back again soon and make your next Mama stay an even better one. Mama ❤️ You Isadora Garcia Front Office Supervisor

I really enjoyed my stay at Mama Shelter in Lisbon. From arrival there was a warm friendly welcome at check in and I loved the overall decor and ambience of the hotel. My room was decorated beautifully, it was clean and super comfortable… the bed was super cosy and the room pretty soundproof to say it was overlooking the main road. I didn’t stay for breakfast but I did have a couple of drinks on the rooftop where it was relaxing and with a fabulous view of Lisbon. Only downside was that my stay was too short!… hope to see you again x

Dear Faye, What a joy to read your feedback! It sounds like you made the most of your time with us, even if it was far too short. We're especially happy to know you enjoyed the warm welcome, the comfort of your room and those relaxing moments on our rooftop. We'll be here whenever you're ready for a longer stay, and we'd love the chance to welcome you back to Mama. If you happen to have a moment, we'd be delighted if you shared your experience on Google too. It helps other travellers discover us and means a great deal to our team. Until next time! Mama ❤️ You! The staff were standoffish, unable to provide assistance and it felt like they had never heard of Accor before.

Dear Hayden, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. ❤️ We are truly sorry to hear that your experience with our team did not reflect the warm and welcoming spirit we strive to create at Mama Shelter. Every guest should feel comfortable, supported, and recognized from the moment they arrive, and we regret that we did not provide you with the level of attention and hospitality you expected. Your comments regarding the team’s approach and knowledge have been shared internally, as they help us identify where we can improve and continue growing. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and show you the genuine Mama hospitality that we are known for. With care, Mama ❤️ You Isadora Garcia Front Office Supervisor

Location is poor - website description not reflected in our experience - need public transport to get to visitor attractions with limited local eateries. WiFi did not work during two days, the tap above basin loose with a poor previous repaire, floor dirty, tripped on loose floorboard on rooftop bar, one lift did not work for half our stay. In room there is nowhere to put folded clothes.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and that several aspects of your stay affected your comfort. This is not the level of quality we aim to deliver at Mama, and we take your comments very seriously. Your observations have been shared with our teams so we can review and address the issues raised, as we are continuously working to improve both our facilities and the guest experience. We sincerely hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future to show you the true Mama spirit in better conditions. Best regards, Mama Shelter Lisbon
