The staff at Mama Shelter are truly top notch. A special thank you to Carolina and Margarida. They're so lovely to help us with trains and bus transportations, we had so many questions! They were very patient and knowledgeable. They seem to really love with job, it shows. They're so lovely and kind upon our arrival. We've noted that we were celebrating our 10-year anniversary and the hotel provided a lovely welcome gift in our room. It was a nice surprise that our room was available at 12pm for early check in. The hotel and the room were phenomenal. Everything is exactly as the photos on their website and google. The shows has nice pressure and very hot water as we came when it was cloudy and a bit cold. During the day, it was hot so the aircon was very nice. They had the nicest bath towels, very big and soft. The cleaning staff was also very lovely and cleaned our room well. 10/10 would return if we come back to Lisbon. Thank you team!

Really disappointed that my pre-advised early check in request wasn’t even acknowledged and I was not recognised as an ALL gold member. For me this is quite important as I had been up for 30 hours travelling so a disappointment as I know I could have stayed elsewhere and received this. I was also unable to redeem the usual Gold member welcome drink and was told they “don’t do that”. Other than that the room was very nicely presented, clean and spacious (I think I received an upgrade, but this wasn’t mentioned at reception so I am guessing going off the room description having never stayed there before) and the bed was very comfy. I was allowed to have late check out by 1 hour. So the room = great, my membership status experience = not so great
