I had made a reservation for two and paid breakfast for one person. However during the stay my mother which was accompagnying me could not go to the 1st floor to get breakfast and I brought the breakfast at her room. The hotel therefore charged me breakfast for one more person so I ended up paying 57 euros in addition to the money I had already paid. Apart from that no one had informed about it neither when I went to pick the breakfast nor when I checked out . Instead they informed me after I have left the hotel and I was at the airport. I would like to mention that I did not eat breakfast at all because I had business meetings all day. Due to that I was very dissatisfied with my stay in the hotel and I will think twice before I ever book again with your hotels. If there were any additional costs I should have been informed when I picked breakfast and not afterwards and in proper English which the hotel service was in many cases unable to speak.

Great location, clean rooms, nice and helpful personal. Only minus is that breakfast looks the same every day. I'd like to have more different vegetables. Also scrambled eggs don't look like real eggs, more like made from powder. Real scrambled eggs would be awesome.

The room was large, comfortable and airco worked great. Appreciate having a balcony to relax on and having a fridge and kettle in the room. Everything you require for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly (thanks Ricardo) which made us feel welcome. The pool was a bonus and well maintained with all facilities required. The Mecure Braga hotel leads by example. The basics are all there and executed well. Have stayed at more expensive newer trendy hotels (e.g in Porto) and they pale by comparison. Its also about repeat business and referrals.....something some other hotels have little understanding of.
