This Ibis Budget is our favourite choice to stay overnight in Saint Omer. It's very well placed on the edge of the centre, has a free and safe car park, it's an easy check in and importantly, there is the usual Ibis comfortable bed for a decent sleep away from home. To us it is good value for money, especially as we've signed up to the Accor cluib and get a discounted price. The hotel is close to the major roads, easy to get to and is just a short walk from the centre of town so it's become our favourite plce to stay in SaintOmer.

Welcome on arrival was inexistent. I think the girl at Reception was being trained, not sure. She totally ignored us on arrival, made us wait for a few minutes without greeting whilst she was looking at something on her computer, no apologies not smile. Dreadful. Then extremely slow at proceeding with our check-in, she did not provide any information about where our room was, what time was breakfast served. I had to ask all the questions. The lady serving breakfast the following day was very pleasant and polite. Breakfast was adequate. Bedroom was clean.
