ibis Saint-Omer Centre Hotel 3 stars

When we arrived, we were given a room key but upon entering the room it was apparent that the room had not been cleaned, rumpled bedsheets and 4 dirty coffee cups. We were given another room but when we came back the following afternoon the card key did not work and we had to go back down to reception and wait for them to recode the card. On this occasion the plastic cups were missing and after waiting for attention in reception for over 20 minutes we gave up on these. When we got back in the evening the TV did not work and after reporting it we had to wait for about 30 minutes before the receptionist came up and got it working. However, the breakfast was very good.

why ask such a question after previous answers

This is the third or fourth time we've (or I alone) have stayed with you. You are perfectly located, since we like to spend time in the cathedral, eat at Petit Montmartre and have a drink in the town square. Hotel reception is always pleasant and helpful, the room fine if (as usual with Ibis) a little small. Also, you are now one of the few places civilised enough to permit smoking in the bedroom (and my wife smokes)! Adequate breakfast too.

We love staying at the Ibis in Saint Omer as we always feel welcome.

Well located and rooms always clean. Breakfast is really good value for money

hotel itself is fine,good location and rooms ok BUT some staff need a retrain over their politeness. on the last evening we were there,playing cards in the bar, at 12 the night porter came over and turned all the lights off with never a word of apology or explanation.do ibis have a policy of not allowing 2 quiet pensioners up after 12?also restaurant very understaffed although they managed valiantly and the food was good.

excellent accommodation with secure parking. Friendly receptionists,clean room and in the centre of town.

The hotel was in the middle of being renovated, but was good.

having asked for a quiet room, were initially allocated a room overlooking busy side street. Impossible to sleep with the windows open. It was changed on request. The toilet however was not satisfactory. Under the rim was filthy. Black everywhere. Not what we would expect in any hotel. It may have been limescale stains,but they could and should have been removed by an efficient cleaner;

Lovely friendly staff, room very nicely furnished and the bed is super comfy A bit more attention to detail by cleaning staff would give you top marks - dust behind bed side tables and the bathroom grout could do with some serious cleaning. The towels are very thin and tired and you still only get one each which is a shame but overall this is a lovely place to stay and is great for central St Omer and all it's shopping, bars and restaurants

We have stayed at the Ibis Hotel in St.Omer on a number of occasions and have always been very satisfied.

We like St Omer and find the Ibis Centre Hotel well equipped, comfortable and welcoming. There is a pleasant bar and dining room and the breakfast is as good as we’ve had in any hotel (we didn’t eat dinner there this time so can’t comment from first hand experience but the menu looked attractive).
