This hotel has the best Ibis restaurant in France , great Chef team, in my opinion. Friendly staff. Great location for WW2 Eperlecques Blockhouse and La Coupole Rocket Factory Museum visits. Nearby Arques Glass outlet centre and amazing River Aa Valley, CTVA tourist railway ( check running days ).

We have stayed in the hotel on a number of occasions, normally on the first or second floor but got allocated a room on the ground floor - noise from the bar in the evening and then from the kitchen starting at around 5.30 in the morning not impressed. Coupled with the fact that due to the celebrations in the town square and all the roads being blocked we missed the opportunity to dine in the restaurant as we arrived shortly after 10. We finally managed to get a pizza from the local takeaway but was told we couldn’t eat this in the bar area as it wasn’t cooked on the premises - not helpful. Pity as we would normally use this hotel as our overnight stop over when travelling south or back home to the uk.
