What you describe regarding the unchanged bed linen, the cleanliness of the shower, the presence of hair and insects, damp towels, and the lack of soap does not meet the standards of cleanliness and hygiene that we aim to provide to our guests. We fully understand your disappointment, especially given your late arrival at 3:30 a.m., when it was understandably difficult to request another room or immediate assistance. The room had not been cleaned. When we walked into the room the bed sheets had not been changed and there was an imprint of someone's head on the pillows where they had slept. The shower had someone else's hair in it where it hadn't been cleaned, there was also no soap in the shower it was empty . Also no soap next to the sink where you wash your hands after using the toilet. The bunkbed ladder had a damp towel drying out on it. And the bunkbed itself had dead insects up on end of the bed and another damp towel on top of the pile of sheets for that bed. Im glad we only spent 1 night there. If we hadnt of arrived at 3:30am, i would have demanded another room that was clean or made them go and clean it. I appreciate this is a budget hotel, but the room could have had at least the basic hygiene applied to it like having soap and being clean. It is not the standard i expect from an Ibis hotel. The breakfast was lovely.

Renovations are currently ongoing, with the old "pod" bathrooms finally being removed and replaced with more modern facilities. The air extractor in ours didn't work, and the thin grouting looked a little mouldy already - this needs to be sorted out. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the pillows excellent. Free coffee even if you don't book breakfast, and there's always the nearby Auchan and Flunch for breakfast options. 10% Discounted Pizza Pai (Auchan) and Buffalo Grill is offered, too. There's a Burger King too, all a short drive away in the Centre Commercial. We've been staying here the night before our ferry for over 20 years now, since it was an Etap hotel. Hopefully the renovations will bring the hotel up to date and we can keep using it!

I needed a cheap convenient stopover, and I got it. That being said, the place is an absolute dump. Breakfast surprisingly good and great value. Staff were fine.

Stayed only 6hrs. Checked in around 12mn and checked out 6.20am, while we rest to wait for our Channel tunnel crossing. Not happy with cleanliness. Our toilet in 215 had no light, trash bin and toilet brush left on top of sink and toilet bowl. Not enough towels too.

The hotel appears to be mid refurbishment so it felt like we were walking into a building site when we first arrived. Room was newly painted but appeared unfinished.

It's well located but desperately needs the renovation done. It does not come close to the standards of any other of the many ibis budget hotels I've stayed in.

Location for area was good, but a few men around that used the vending machine but didn't appear to be staying, so didn't feel secure. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was ok but needs some updating as its tired, our bed was not fixed and you can hear everything outside, shower was nice and hot but floods the rest of the bathroom, so used towels to soak up water once finished.

The hotel was exactly as expected based on the price. They are in the middle of doing upgrades, for now it is a bit tired. The room was clean and that’s the most important thing. The bathroom is tiny and we were (positively) amazed by the amount of water that came out of the shower head!

Chose this hotel as it was close to the main route from the Eurotunnel to The Netherlands. From the outside, we wondered if we had made a good choice as the exterior looked shabby. We were warmly welcomed and our room was clean and comfortable despite the hot temperatures! We needed to leave very early next morning and were offered a coffee to take on our journey, which was very kind (and just what we needed!)

We had a terrible stay as the room was dirty and smelt so strongly of smoke. We alerted the member of staff who came up and agreed it smelt of smoke, but said they were fully booked. Our clothes and pjs smelt awful the next day. The only refund feature was the car charging!

Found the price of the room expensive for what it offered. Stayed in Ibis Budget before and this was very poor in comparison. Small room, shower cubicle allowing water to spread over toilet floor too easily. The whole shower/toilet area felt like something out of an old motorhome. Very noisy hotel with banging of doors till late at night and very early in the morning. The breakfast selection was very poor. Orange juice machine had run out, empty orange juice carton on the side, apple selection was running slow, half the cofffee slection in the machine was unavailable. Very poor selection of fruit, only apple and oranges. Slices of bread on offer but no toaster. No spoons for yoghurt.
