The pillow case had awful smell, so I did not use it. Our room was full of smoke because the people smoked the bench below our window. We need to open the window as it was hot day.

Our one-night stay was a complete disaster as we couldn't get any sleep due to the incessant noise from outside, neighbouring rooms, and the corridor. It felt like the walls were made of paper, offering no soundproofing at all. The overall experience was highly disappointing, and I have no intention of staying at this hotel again.

The hotel smelt very strongly of both cannabis and cigarettes. The rooms were very dated and dusty, needed a deep clean. No air con which was expected. I’ve just toilet roll thicker than the towels provided. Only reason I did not score a 1 was because the reception staff were lovely. We left at 5am as couldn’t bear being in the rooms anymore as it felt like a prison and definitely not somewhere you would take children.

The car park was empty, so easy to park. When we arrived at the reception the member of staff was on their phone and someone was sitting at the desk on their mobile phone. After several minutes the member of staff found our booking, gave us our room key and directed us to our room. We briefly left the hotel to collect some supplies. When we returned, there were several men who stared at us as we re-entered the hotel, which did make my daughters feel a little uncomfortable. The room was basic, however, the beds were comfortable. The hotel was noisy throughout the night, with other guests leaving and returning to their rooms throughout the night. We managed to get some sleep, showered in the morning and left. I won't be staying here again.
