We used the hotel as a break on a journey south. Check in was simple and efficient, the room clean, well maintained and comfortable (excellent bed and shower) and the bonus of a small bar with draft beer. Breakfast was just right with good coffee.

Given a disabled room that we didn’t ask for-we do not need shower seats,toilet handles and raised toilets.You should not give these rooms without asking it also had a mouldy shower tiles,awful shower curtain and grubby carpet in the bedroom.

I did email the hotel to say we were were going to be arriving late, but unfortunately we had no reply and the main vehicle gate was closed, the intercom was out of action, and the telephone number wasn’t working. I had to jump the gate an d go to reception to let us in. Rooms were tired and basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cold buffet with a reasonable selection.
