I find it quite unacceptable that the hotel cancelled my reservation only two hours before my arrival and subsequently cancelled two other reservations as well. We tried calling the hotel several times, but they did not even have the courtesy to answer the phone. Upon arrival, we asked for an explanation as to why the reservation had been cancelled. Various excuses were given, but as someone who works within the industry, I am fully aware of how these systems operate. I had made the reservation with payment upon arrival, yet I was told that they had attempted to charge my card multiple times and that the transactions had failed. This was simply not true. Whether a transaction is successful or unsuccessful, I always receive a notification through my online banking system, and no such notification was received. The behavior of the staff was also unacceptable. When we questioned the cancellation of the reservation, they laughed at us instead of providing a proper explanation. On a positive note, we were completely satisfied with the room and with the restaurant staff. Every morning they greeted us warmly and repeatedly asked whether we were satisfied with our stay, demonstrating a level of professionalism and hospitality that was unfortunately lacking elsewhere.

Very clean, staff were great, good selection for breakfast and dinner. Only complaint was the Aircon wasn't brilliant and didn't cool the room too well

Not much to say. Breakfast left much to be desired, no mini-fridge, no room service. It took me a while to notice it was a 2 star hotel, but once I did my expectations were managed. Still, the air conditioning not working because it wasn't the right season is definitely a bit of an insult. Also the shower losing heat every odd minute for a few seconds before becoming hot again. Staff was very nice, and the carbonara surprisingly good, honestly. The rug choice made it look like the whole place is under construction, horrid taste whoever picked that one. Not being able to eat our food from outside at the restaurant is understandable during meal times
