Positive start. Lobby, room pleasant atmosphere. Comfy bed & pillows. Absolutely NO amenity to wash hair, NOR body, no lotion either. I had lost my bag. I asked for back up, received nothing. Was given an inactive key. Was late, 5th floor, tired. Luckily a maintenance guy was down the hall, he let us in, promised a good key would be brought up. Never received. Next morning 930am go down for breakfast, they asked to see my key, I told I have to go to front desk on my way back up after breakfast. Lady said no u have to pay for breakfast here now. I said no I will not be. I will have one charge on my credit card not multiple. Went to front desk they refused to give me key to get back in my room to get my bags. Was weirdest experience, didn’t make sense. Wasn’t check out time yet. I said plz give me key now I not in mood for mistreatment. I will go get my bags, duh!

Without proper identity verification, our staff is not permitted to issue a room key. Regarding breakfast, your reservation was booked on a room-only basis and did not include breakfast. In addition, as there was no pre-authorization or deposit on file during your stay, hotel policy requires payment for any additional services prior to their use. For this reason, payment was requested before breakfast service was provided. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Very nice hotel situated in residential area on Asian side of Istanbul. Not at all touristy. Convenient for local shops. Great coffee shop and restaurant actually attached to hotel. Lovely food. The stay was made better by wonderful staff in hotel. The food in the hotel itself is good basic stuff. If you like to drink alcohol, there are few places nearby. Hotel had a small bar though and beautiful covered seating area. I recommend downloading bitaksi app to get around. The metro isnt far from hotel for cheap option. Using translation apps is also normal if you dont speak much Turkish. The lovely locals cant wait to ask all about you! I had lots of fun. But in reality the people made it a great experience.
