This is the hotel where my family & I feel most welcome. Mrs. Zeynep Sariyar, who I think is one of the managers, always goes above and beyond to greet us and make us feel pampered. We could not recommend this place enough to everyone we know, and it's all thanks to her.

Overall my stay at the hotel left a positive impression and I would like to sincerely thank the hotel and its team for the effort they put into creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. One of the hotel’s strongest highlights is the breathtaking views — the view from the room overlooking the strait is beautiful and the panoramic scenery from the restaurants is truly memorable. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the high-quality housekeeping. The staff at the entrance and reception were consistently warm, polite and welcoming, and the restaurant hostesses were very friendly and attentive. At the same time there were a few aspects that affected my overall experience. The glass wall between the room and the shower area felt uncomfortable. Even with the curtain drawn the silhouette of a person inside is still visible. In addition the TV doesn't support Chromecast and does not offer apps like Netflix or Apple TV which limits in-room entertainment options. Breakfast was the most mixed part of the experience. On one hand, the food was varied and delicious, with a good selection of dishes. On the other hand, the service often felt inattentive - it was difficult to get the staff’s attention and when they did respond, they were not always welcoming. It felt uncomfortable to ask for coffee, especially since there were no self-service coffee machines available, so I often chose to serve myself tea instead. But it should be mentioned that on our last morning the waiter was exceptionally kind and attentive, which showed that the service can be excellent. As breakfast is an important part of our travel experience - a time to relax and enjoy the view - this inconsistency left us with mixed feelings, despite the beautiful setting that initially influenced our choice of hotel. I would also like to highlight the rooftop restaurant, which offers stunning views, and the spa area, which I truly enjoyed - especially the separate steam rooms for men and women. However, the swimming pool was quite disappointing, as the water was too cold. Access to the hotel from the Dolmabahçe side was somewhat challenging due to the steep path. I noticed a closed gate and a staff entrance, and I believe that adding a guest-access gate with key card entry would make things much more convenient. Nevertheless, there are always taxis available nearby, which helps. In summary, I am truly grateful to the hotel and its team for their hospitality, cleanliness and the comfort they provided, as well as for the unforgettable views. Despite the positive aspects, due to several inconveniences - particularly the breakfast service - I would probably choose a different hotel for my next stay.
