Bad service , bad cleaning , lack of service team accountability , same problems everyday in cleaning ( no towels / no bed linen changes despite request)

It was very bad experience started by waiting for check in 3 hrs room not ready ended by sleeping in the looby due AC in the villa not working. Even due in all of my bad experience o would like to thank Mrs vasila the relation manager for her response and understanding ,

Our stay at Mövenpick Living West has now extended to almost two months, and throughout this time we have been consistently impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the team. It has truly become a place where we have felt welcomed and supported. There is one team member who deserves very special recognition: Ms. Vesile Kaya from Guest Relations. Words hardly do justice to the dedication she brings to her role. As someone living with mobility and health challenges, I have personally experienced her extraordinary commitment to making our stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. No matter what the situation, she approaches every request with kindness, efficiency, and genuine care. What stands out even more is that, despite the absence of a Front Office Manager and Restaurant Manager during our stay, Ms. Vesile has repeatedly stepped beyond the responsibilities of her own position. She has taken ownership of situations, supported guests across different departments, and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone feels valued and looked after. Her energy, professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to care for both guests and colleagues are truly exceptional. I sincerely hope that Accor's management recognizes what an outstanding asset she is. Employees like Ms. Vesile Kaya are rare. She is already performing at a level well beyond her current title, and she deserves recognition, career advancement, and a salary that reflects the exceptional value she brings to the hotel. I would also like to recognize Kevser from the housekeeping team. Her professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, and willingness to help have made a real difference during our stay. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect, and her care and dedication never go unnoticed. A special thank you also goes to Mr. Gokhan, Reception Supervisor. His professionalism, calm approach, and commitment to guest satisfaction are evident in every interaction. He leads by example, is always welcoming, helpful, and attentive, and consistently ensures that guests feel valued and cared for. His excellent work reflects positively on the entire reception team. I would also like to thank Mr. Arda, Reservation Supervisor, for his support during our stay. We asked him to personally follow up on our Accor Platinum membership and ensure that our extended stay was correctly recorded. He handled this with professionalism and care, and we truly appreciated his willingness to assist and follow through. The restaurant team also deserves special recognition. Our sincere thanks go to Mr. Tolga, Assistant Chef, for his dedication and consistently excellent service. We would also like to thank Mr. Omar and Mikhail for their kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. They consistently made every dining experience welcoming and enjoyable, and their genuine care for guests did not go unnoticed. There are just a few areas where the hotel could improve. Some maintenance issues would benefit from greater attention, and the exterior windows would greatly improve the appearance of the hotel if they were cleaned more regularly. In addition, I believe the hotel would benefit from appointing a Front Office Manager, as the reception team can become extremely busy at times and phone calls occasionally go unanswered. These are constructive observations and, in my opinion, are easily addressed. Apart from these few points, Mövenpick Living West is an excellent hotel with an outstanding team. It is the people behind this hotel who truly make it special. We leave with sincere gratitude for their care, dedication, and hospitality, and we look forward to returning in the future.

New hotel, space is bigger than other hotel, efficiency services, quick to give point to Accor account

When we booked Mövenpick Living West Istanbul we expected European quality and a 5 star experience. The hotel is located in a construction side and even the property itself is not well maintained and way below what you expect from a hotel which is managed by Europe's largest hospitality company. Dirty floors, housekeeping staff that doesn't speak English, etc. is definitely not worth the amount of money that we paid for it.

This was our fourth or fifth stay at this hotel, and each time we return we are reminded why we enjoy staying here so much. The comfort of the rooms, the peaceful atmosphere, and the professionalism of the team always make us feel welcome, but this visit was particularly special. From the moment of our arrival, we were greeted with exceptional care by the Guest Relations Manager, Vasile Kaya. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay would be as comfortable as possible. Knowing about my back and mobility challenges, she thoughtfully arranged our room in advance, prepared amenities for our arrival, and even organized a different mattress to help make my stay more comfortable. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made a meaningful difference to our experience. As a Platinum member of the Accor Group, I have stayed in many Accor properties over the years, and I can sincerely say that the level of hospitality and personal attention we received here reflects the very best of the Accor standard. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Gizem, the Front Office Manager, whose efficient leadership, professionalism, and excellent problem-solving skills contributed greatly to the quality of our stay. A special compliment also goes to Assistant Chef Tolga and his kitchen and restaurant team especially Mikael. The quality of the food was excellent throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the chocolate soufflé served with ice cream, which was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of our dining experience. Our heartfelt thanks go to Vasile Kaya, Mrs. Gizem, Emre, Şahin, Yasin, Assistant Chef Tolga, Mikail from the restaurant and the entire hotel team for their warmth, professionalism, and dedication. Their care made us feel genuinely looked after and transformed another stay into a truly memorable experience. This hotel became my preferred option when l cone to Istanbul with the family. The apparent is spacious and clean and all staff members are very friendly.

From housekeeping to reception and guest relations, the level of professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness offered by the team has been consistently outstanding. During this stay, Guest Relations Manager Vesile was absolutely wonderful in making our stay comfortable and smooth. Anything we needed was responded to quickly, kindly, and efficiently. We also experienced an unexpected issue with a taxi driver, and although Vesile was not physically at the property at that moment, she immediately assisted and coordinated support professionally. Through her, Mrs. Gizem, the Front Office Manager, personally came and calmly resolved the matter with professionalism, grace, and reassurance. We deeply appreciated the way the situation was handled. Additionally, when we mentioned that the mattress was uncomfortable, the team responded immediately and arranged for it to be changed, which reflected genuine care for guest wellbeing and comfort. It is this consistency of hospitality, responsiveness, and human warmth that keeps us returning to Accor properties. The only thing that prevents giving 10 was a dirt (a leaf kind of thing) on the accessory pillow on bed.

While the staff was well mannered and pleasant, our room was not to a 5 Star standard. The fire alarm was triggered at 5 am the morning of March 31 at there was no communication from staff at all ! 2 fire sprinklers in the ceiling of the 4 bedroom Sky Villa were not in the ceiling properly. There was dried paint along the stairs in the room, dripped paint on the baseboards, the terrace had some trash that was there we were arrived. The wall leading up tje steps was cracked with huge places were the plaster was rough and bumpy. A floor lamp next to the dining room table had its cord wrapped with black tape ( not safe). Plaster from the ceiling fell onto the floor and in my hair. I had to ring the front desk to retrieve the plates, bowls and silverware from the room service we ordered and I washed all of it, upon checkout all of it was still there by the door. Taxis refused to drop us at the door multiple times due to the fear that the ongoing construction from across the street would damage their tires. The hotel did not offer any courtesy shuttle to or from the airport. We had to request multiple times towels, bathrobe etc. There were no plates or cutlery in the kitchen. The paper towel roller on the downstairs toilet was broken and not fixed, request for toilet paper was not fulfilled. The dryer did not work and we were inquired about this they agreed and a large drying rack was sent up for us to use. It was definitely not a 5 Star experience. Unfortunately, we did not find another 4 bedroom or we would have left the property. We were very disheartened to have been allocated the Sky Villa with those obvious issues that should have been recified a long time ago. I don't think Movenpick should have the 5 Star.

Nice hotel and staff Very good breakfast

There was 1 shower broken, some of the shower gels were diluted with water. The heating in 1 bedroom couldn't be turned off, even if the power on/off button was working... You can clean better the bed linens and towels.

Good service; the staff is very attentive and kind. Minus points for climate control: a windy room due to bad closing windows and doors. No possibility to adjust the heating yourself in the room. When turned on (by the staff with central heating) it becomes too hot! Some windows and doors don't open at all (they can't find the key or broken system). Last tip: please change the music in the restaurant sometimes.

Not clean (I have pics of hair on bed, sofa and towels) Room smell of smoke Tried to note details of my credit card (expiry number and cv) Tried to scam me in conversion rate (quoted me 496 eur then quickly adjusted to the 482 I calculated. The welcome snacks looked like half eaten. I didn't thouch it and the cleaners left it to rot. I asked them to take away but they refused. I had to take it to reception myself I didn't get room upgrade as gold member They charged me for the deposit instead of making reservation. Told me it can take two months to reimburse Bed of 150cm is not king size as in room description Room does not have cutlery, pans, etc as in room description

I stayed 1 night in a 4 bedroom apt in Dec. The apt was very comfortable but unfortunately i didn;t get any upgrade. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly. Only downside was the kitchen was smelly and i had to continuously ask for things - dental kits, glasses, etc.

We have stayed at this hotel before and were already familiar with the comfort of the rooms and the peaceful atmosphere. This time, however, the experience has been truly exceptional because of the incredible kindness and dedication of the staff. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and welcoming, allowing us to rest deeply and feel completely at ease during our stay. What truly stood out during this visit was how far the team went beyond their duties to support us. As a Platinum member of the Accor Group, I have had the opportunity to experience many hotels within this fantastic group, and I can sincerely say that the level of care and attention we received here fully reflects and truly deserves the high standards associated with Accor hospitality. Most especially, Elayda from Guest Relations has been absolutely magnificent. She made our stay exceptionally comfortable, she attended to all of our needs and beyond, patiently answering all our questions and offering genuine care with a truly five-star level of service. Her professionalism and warmth made us feel genuinely seen and valued. Her dedication to work and guest care should truly be rewarded. We would also like to warmly thank the receptionists and managers, especially Emre, Sami, and Arda, who were consistently helpful, kind, and attentive throughout our stay. In addition, Umut and Abdullah the restaurant were very efficient and attentive, always ensuring that everything we needed was taken care of with care and kindness. We genuinely appreciate the warmth, professionalism, and dedication of the entire team and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and true hospitality. We would happily stay here again.

Unforgettable days we spent in Mövenpick Living Istanbul West. Everything was great! Kif we'll come again to Istanbul, we will live here! Surely!
