Not quite. I asked for a nonsmoking room. Still, the room has a strong cigar smell. Nobody cares. Room badly in need of maintenance. Poor breakfast and really bad organized breakfast/dinner room. Extremely bad all you can eat dinner and expensive for that "food" bar personnel with poor actitud. All in all not satisfied with this particular IBIS

Stay in a messy and melty place.

I would not reccomend this hotel. Facilities are dirty. A lot of melt is inside the bathroom/in the shower. Toilet was in bad condition with a lot of stains with urine. Hotel staff as maid are very offensive, they are ignoring "do not disturb" plates on the door.

Staff terrific, especially Can and Ali on front desk. Service all round most helpful, polite and friendly.Food wonderful, tasty and inexpensive at hotel. Room was great with a fabulous view of the sea. Shuttle to Sultanahmet from hotel, good. If using taxis get hotel to organise.

Nice place in front of the Bosphorus

Is a very nice and clean hotel in front of the Bosphorus, very close to the Ataturk airport and city downtown. The staff is friendly at concierge and check in desk, but unfortunately they are not friendly at all at the bar/restaurante, that's is a pitty.The hotel has only 2 elevators for 7 floors and 210 rooms, sometimes you need to spend several minutes, up to 15, waiting for elevator and when we asked for scalator they said that was not possible to use them.

I primarily selected this hotel due to its location in the airport (Ataturk Airport) area of Bakirkoy/Zeytinburnu as I wanted to be close to the airport as my flight was due to land at 0400 so I wanted to make sure I could get to the hotel quickly to sleep. I also wanted a hotel near the sea and on the main road from the airport to the city centre and this airport was in such a location with great views over the Sea Of Marmara which was quite soothing and with easy access to Sultanahmet (the old city) and the city centre. This hotel was very reasonably priced which was especially important given the fact that I was only going to get to use the room for a few hours before having to check out (another bonus in my case was that after staying at this hotel I was due to stay with family at the Radisson Blu Atakoy which was next door so this was handy as it was a short walk away). Another good thing is that Galleria Atakoy Mall (I believe its Istanbul (or Turkey's) first mall) and Atakoy Marina are close by too meaning that there are many nice places to eat, shop etc. I was greeted by a very friendly staff member called Eflatun who checked me in very quickly. The room was a typical Ibis room ie small, quite basic but it adhered to typical Ibis standards of good standard of cleanliness - all I need was a clean room to sleep in for a few hours and this was perfect. The only issue I had was with queue for check out - although it was not long (I was the next person) it took long to be served although once it was my turn I was processed in a few seconds which was good.

We had two one night stays here last week and we hated it on both occassions. The rooms are very small and depressing, furniture and bathrooms need renovating, check in takes ages even at night time, the extra bed in the room has a terrible design with about 20cm of wooden frame covering the top of the bed resulting with a number of injuries on my son throughout the night! Rooms are not sound proof and the hotel switches off the room key access on the elevators at night time, allowing "special guests" in to the hotel which is not a sound you want nextdoor when you are staying with young children in the room! Although this has nothing to do with the hotel, the major construction / roadworks outside the hotel means you have to take a very long detour to get to the hotel.

Evrything was excellent. A girl at reception [ Birgul ] was very helpfull and polite. Thank you Birgul. There is a shuttle from the hotel to Aya Sofia and its very practical and cheap. In this hotel there is free underground parking, very safe.
