I stayed at Novotel Makkah Thakher City on the night of 2026-09-28 in tower 2 Room number 27203. It was nice stay there buy unfortunately i forget my Iron in the room, if i send someone to collect can you please give it to him.

This was probably my worst stay in a hotel. I have been travelling for 20 years and yo be the worst takes some doing. At the check-in, people just walk up randomly even if you are speaking to someone and that person then diverts his attention to the person who just walked in. This happens in most hotels so I won't complain a lot about this When I checked in, I had two reservations. This happens a lot at the Marriott and they know that they should combine under one reservation. The person asked me if I would like to pay for one day or both days. You should charge up front so it avoids issues of asking for payment again( to be explained below) I paid for the room around 10 ish and then went to sleep later on. At 2:45, I get a cal on my room number. 2:45 am!!! Must be something urgent right? I didn't answer and then I got a call on cell phone. I answered and the person said the rate had changed or something and I owe a balance of 60 riyals. I was extremely upset and asked him about his manners of calling at 2:45 am and the person very casually started to explain why there was a difference in the price I paid and why I owe a balance. I paid what was asked, I understand that sometimes an issue might occur, but to call twice at 2:45 am!! I am completely shocked I called the manager the next day and complained about the staff's behaviour I got a call when I was at dinner cause they didn't charge for the second night( just charge together!) I said I am outside and will handle this layer. I came back and went to sleep. I got a call again around 2am, I didn't answer. Then someone came and started knocking asking for the money! The hotel lacks systems and you can see such a big difference with the Marriott. Basic systems and operations are not in place. I don't know what the management is doing. Such basics in a hotel are not managed properly

I stayed at Novotilo Hotel and booked my stay through Agoda. On arrival, we showed our booking at reception. The check-in process was quick, and the staff completed the formalities promptly and handed over the room key, directing us to Building 3. However, we had to carry our luggage ourselves, as no room service staff assisted us. I also tried calling reception, but there was no response. We faced some issues in the room, as we were unable to adjust the AC and the TV remote was not working due to missing batteries. I had to personally find a room service staff member outside to get these issues fixed. I stayed with my family for two days. The room was very neat, and the mattress and overall comfort were excellent. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained. Once contacted, the room service staff were helpful. Regarding parking, Agoda showed that parking was confirmed at the time of booking. However, the reception informed us that parking is subject to availability. We had to park our car outside the hotel with great difficulty, as there was no proper space available even nearby. There is a bus shuttle service to Haram, which runs approximately every hour. Overall, the stay was comfortable in terms of room quality, but improvements are needed in customer service, responsiveness, and parking management.

We got a room in tower 1. During the entirety of our stay the AC didn't work. We struggled to sleep as the AC was very loud and temperature was around 28-29. Parking was also a nightmare and we had to use taxi to get around since the car spots were 0.

Novotel Makkah is one of the Accor hotels in Makkah and offers a comfortable stay with generally good service and decent recognition of Accor membership benefits. Although the hotel is not located close to Masjid al-Haram, the regular shuttle service makes the location quite convenient. The shuttle generally runs every 30 minutes, except during prayer times, and the service is usually punctual and well organized. The arrival experience was very good. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and our room was already prepared and available upon arrival. As an Accor Platinum member, I was quite pleased with the membership benefits provided during my stay. The welcome amenities were quite complete, and a welcome drink was also provided. The recognition of Platinum status was appreciated and added value to the overall experience. However, based on my experience, I did not receive a room upgrade during this stay. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, with a good variety of dishes available. Most of the choices were Middle Eastern cuisine, which was enjoyable and suitable for the location, although guests looking for a wider range of international options may find the selection somewhat limited. One area that could be improved is the shuttle schedule, particularly on Fridays. On my experience, the regular shuttle service had already stopped operating from around 10:00 AM. Guests were then directed to use the hotel's partner transportation service, which costs approximately SAR 10 per trip. It would be helpful if the shuttle schedule, especially on Fridays, could be communicated more clearly in advance so guests can plan their trips accordingly. Unfortunately, the check-out experience was less pleasant. When we were preparing to check out and needed assistance with our luggage, we tried calling for a bellboy, but no one answered our calls. We understand that the hotel may have been busy at the time. However, when we eventually went down to the lobby, it appeared that the staff were not particularly occupied at that moment. This was somewhat disappointing and different from the otherwise smooth service we experienced during arrival. Overall, Novotel Makkah provided a pleasant and comfortable stay. The efficient check-in, well-prepared room, good breakfast selection, regular shuttle service, and solid recognition of Accor Platinum benefits made the experience enjoyable. With better communication regarding the shuttle schedule and improved responsiveness to bellboy requests during check-out, the overall guest experience could be even better.
