My stay was 1 night 19 august to 20 august Location is very well Luxury room with comfortable bed But for sorry service with out of standards or excellence No telephone operator Called them twice at 12.30 am , but no answer Next day at 11 am also no answer Concierge the same issue Reception is the only one that answer but after 2 or 3 try Also, for sorry we deserve a welcoming drink for 5 persons and I show vouchers from All Accor apps.To receptionist, she assured me to send it to the room, but for sorry nothing happen although I called her again on phone but the same situation.

Our stay at the Novotel Residence was very good overall, and we enjoyed the room. However, the kitchen lacked basic items like plates, silverware, and knives. The pots were greasy, and no sponge/soap was provided for cleaning, and a deposit was charged upon arrival, which no one informed us about it during booking, Aside from the kitchen supply issues, everything else was great!

I got an email from Accor saying that my stay was pre-paid, and that I owed no money on arrival. Then, the hotel staff claimed that I hadn't paid, and I was asked to pay, again, at check-in. Super-confusing, and I am checking with my bank now to understand what the heck is happening. This is the second time this has happened to me with Novotel hotels in Makkah.

the only 2 good thing about the hotel is the size of the room and the view from the room. the service needs to be improved a lot. to my surprise the hotel building is only 2 years old but seems to be very old like more than 10 years and not at all maintained. the stains in sinks and amount of dust in ever corner like window, that clearly tells staff just dont take good care of cleaning. we stayed in tower 4 and every morning we have to walk to tower 2 for breakfast. I understand that due to managing various things managment have decided to do that. but this should be clearly stated at the time of check in by staff. we are wondering around to find the breakfast place the first morning untill we went to staff and asked. On Thursday, we had requested the staff to clear the dustbin and vacuum the living room, but it was done on Friday after repeatedly calling them 5 times. i just wish the service was up to the standerd.

Have all the facilities. The shuttle is efficient with great hospitality of the driver. A bit of distance from drop off point to Haram, but may improve if the extension is open. We took the shuttle at 3am, and arrived 340am at Haram with walking etc, just the right time before fajr. The facilities are tip top. Kitchen, utensils and washing machine. One downside matter is the housekeeping services. We requested more than 5x by call, went to the receptionist, made a complaint, but only on our 5th day, our room got cleaned. Other than that, we are happy. Insyaa Allah, will consider for the next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Novotel residence it truly felt like a home away from home. The studio/ apartment/ room was exceptionally comfortable, providing the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The staff deserves special mention for being consistently helpful and attentive throughout our visit, which made a significant difference. The location is also very convenient, situated within close proximity to the Haram. They offer a reliable shuttle service, and if you prefer taking a taxi, it is only a quick 7–10 minute drive.

So it was my 4th or 5th stay and Novotel Residence and as an Accor Platinum I get an upgrade also. All amenities were 10/10 , staff , the reception ladies as I didnt met Mr. Ahmad the Slim guy this time 🫣😁. The bellman and all the staff. From check inn till check out 10/10. Apartment is very spascious, clean with 3-4 washrooms , a big lounge and spascious bedrooms. Everything was clean.

What is good? 1) Bedrooms are ok (clean and ready). They need better care to keep them up to the standard but overall not bad. What is not? 1) During check-in, the receptionist asked me to pay while I already booked and paid thru All-Accor website. When I explained that to him, then he asked me to pay stay insurance. I gave him my credit card but he insisted that I pay Cash of which I didn't 2) Swimming pool is closed. One of the reasons I picked this hotel although its more distant from my work is the swimming pool as I need it to recover from shoulder and neck injury. Would be good if the website have stated that. 3) Showers need better attention. The Shampoo and shower gel are of very low/cheap local supply. The water heater can serve you 10 min max then it runs out.

I stayed at Novotel Residence Thakher Makkah for 4 Nights. The room feels like home. Very comfortable, quite, well equipped with all essentials. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Especially thanks to Mr. Nooraldeen who always replied my emails promptly. Thank you very much, I will definitely stay in this hotel again Inshaa Allah.
