Ask for joined rooms instead got separated in floors. Guards at the entrance asking my drivers for bribe money in order to let the cars in. Overall experience was horrible. However, room service including the attendants and house keeping were the best part.

No ideas about service - Towels old - Hotel is old - had push for benefits of diamond member and did not follow guaranteed room availability though request was made 2 days before - except Noah - All staff clueless..

The location is obviously really good but the hotel needs urgent refurbishment. The rooms are tired and old and not upto 5 star standard at all. We had a 2 bedroom suite and there were no cupboards and wardrobes in the room. There was only 1 small wardrobe behind the main door which was inconvenient. The fridge door and the bedside cabinet were broken. The shower was fixed and cannot be detached. However beds were comfortable. Rooms sizes were small with hardly any space. If you have children of any age, THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE EXTRA BEDS. Even if they are mentioned in the booking. This is the first I found a hotel that is really strict with this rule. Where do the children sleep? The hotel staff at the Accor desk were very unhelpful especially Badr who promised us mattresses for the kids then changed his words. Nobody received any help from the check in staff including the duty managers. Usually managers asssit and keep their customers happy but not in Zamzam. The lifts to go to the haram are a nightmare as they are extremely slow and always super busy. Overall I won't recommend this hotel as there are much better hotels in Makkah. Many others have said the same. I have stayed at many other hotels and they've been excellent. Just my honest opinion.
