The overall experience was satisfactory, but there is room for improvement. The elevators could be more comfortable and convenient, and the housekeeping service was good but not exceptional. The absence of an executive lounge was also disappointing. Overall, the value for money was reasonable, but not outstanding.

From the moment of arrival (family of 6 members with kids under 8) everything we needed was catered to, complimentary gahwa and zamzam on a daily basis, the service on all accounts was impeccable, the cleanliness was 10/10, the location is also ideal in close proximity to the haram, the food was also 10/10 (in my experience in other 5 start hotels it’s not common with in room dining), thank you Raffles Makkah for making our stay a very memorable one.

I’ve stayed at Raffles Makkah several times over the past 10 years, and unfortunately, I have repeatedly experienced a strong smell of fungus/mold in the rooms. Before each reservation, I make a point of informing the staff about our allergies, yet the issue seems to persist. During my most recent stay, the situation was particularly concerning, as visible fungus was falling from the bathroom ceiling and caused us breathing difficulties. This is very disappointing, especially for a hotel of this standard. That said, I would like to sincerely acknowledge Mr. Hussain AlHarbi, who went above and beyond when I raised the complaint. His professionalism and efforts to resolve the situation made the remainder of our stay much more pleasant, and his assistance was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, despite the excellent service from Mr. Hussain, the recurring fungus/mold issue is a serious concern for us, and I don’t think we will be visiting Raffles Makkah again anytime soon unless this issue is properly addressed.

I had a great overall experience at the hotel. The quality was excellent, the suite and facilities were very clean, and I really appreciated the privacy and comfort throughout my stay.
