I found the Palm Cove resort to be poorly maintained, lacking staff, basic bedrooms that were overdue refurbishment, food quality poor. We spent minimal time in the resort choosing to dine outside in the town. Upon checking out I was not asked about my stay, just anything from the minibar (the contents of which cannot be described as a minibar!) and then have a nice day. I have stayed at Pullmans previously and as such expected that quality here but that was sadly not the case. Very disappointed.

Reception staff is very friendly and helped me good with the check in. Eventhough i had booked the smallest room, it was spacious. The room had a relaxing bath. The pool is really nice, and temperature of the water was nice. Nice that you can walk to the beach from the back of the hotel. Breakfast was good. Dinner was one of the bests in Cairns and surroundings so far. Thank you.

Enjoyed the location and non fuss approach . Slept well even with the aircon not co operating and causing us to put on extra layers … otherwise Dreamtime !
