Its the small things that add up and made the stay satisfactory. Spa was not working for majority of days, some of the staff seemed bothered to be there and it felt like they were going out of their way for the simplest requests

Staff were great, facilities were not. Back area was dirty and tired. Fountain didn't work and was collecting stagnant water. Air conditioning units held up on lower balcony by piece of wood. Windows dirty. Pool was missing tiles and had cracks. Upstairs balcony infested with ants. Not 5 star.

I was disappointed by several aspects of the hotel. Firstly the outdated, old furnishings in our room. Also, the very limited room service times, the kitchen only seemed to be open for 90 minutes for lunch and dinner. The lack of pool chairs and feeling like getting dry pool towels was a big inconvenience to the hotel.

Loved the rooftop private spa on the 2 bedroom apartment we had and how equipped it was (oven, microwave, dishwasher etc). I liked the private beach access and how green the hotel was. When we asked for certain items they were delivered kindly. We had an issue with the vent making noise throughout our stay and when we informed the front staff, Daniel was prompt in coming up to check it out. However, advertised as a 5 star, this in my experience was a 3 star. Breakfast had a decent range of items but not well catered to dietaries (like no pork or beef), I was told that chicken sausages are done every second day but we had breakfast for 3 days there and I did not see them once. Upon informing the chef I was told the above, it would have been ideal for them to say ‘we can whip you up some’ especially at a 5 star. I would have thought dressing gowns would come in the room for the type we booked let alone the 5 star hotel however we had to ask for them. As a five star it would have been ideal to see some perks/incentives like the other 5 stars in Palm cove (adult reef house had some Complimentary experiences)

We have stayed here 9 times since 2016 and love the property but consistently have maintenance issues with our room

This resort is one of the best I've stayed at by far. It's such a beautiful place. We were upgraded to a villa suite for our honeymoon and the villa was absolutely stunning. The staff were great and the breakfast was delicious

We’ve stayed at Sea Temple many times, happy to see the improvement in WiFi, and grateful to enjoy the fabulous Penthouse for a first time. So nice to be welcomed by friendly faces again - Kenji, George, Kazumi and Megan as if we were Old friends. As Accor Platinum we enjoy staying here and enjoy the perks (seems many guests don’t book via Accor but demand the same benefits)

We had 5 nights to purely rest. It was a great place to do so, and very quiet. Although we found out a wedding reception was being held there on our first night. It would have been really disappointing if we only had a couple of nights as it was really loud. Otherwise gorgeous walk over walkway to the beach.

The staff was friendly. Give meals lack quality and overpriced. The accommodation is self was substandard very outdated in terms of furniture and decor. The building exterior as well as the gardens lack Maintenance. The location is very far from the town centre/waterfront.

We do have regular maintenance and presentation routines in place across the resort, however, it is clear from your experience that these did not deliver the standard you were looking for during your stay. Your observations regarding the gardens and exterior have also been noted and will be shared with the relevant teams. Our location within Palm Cove does mean we are situated a short distance from the main village and waterfront precinct, something that is outlined in our property information, but we appreciate that this may not suit every guest. This was my second stay at the Palm Cove Temple Resort and I thoroughly enjoyed my time yet again. Each and every interaction with the staff was a credit to the hotel. The food provided was of high quality and thoroughly enjoyed. The facilities in our room and throughout the hotel were superb. We were upgraded to an apartment which was lovely. The bed and furnishings were very comfortable indeed. However, in my previous stay the breakfast was ala carte and this time the breakfast was a buffet. Wonderful quality but I missed that ala carte experience. And it has to be said the use of the lap pool was severely restricted by the number of preschool children who despite having the other pools to enjoy, consistently monopolised the lap pool. Certainly not something I hold the resort responsible for. However the noise of the children having their best time was occasionally distracting from one's own relaxation at the bar (lol)
