The first time we have stayed at this very nice hotel. Room 708 was a one bedroom unit with full facilities including a washing machine. The clothes line on the spacious veranda was a very nice surprise & brilliant for quickly drying your clothes & swimmers from the pool. The view over the harbour was brilliant & it was an easy walk to everything cairns had to offer.

My fifth visit to Royal Harbour , great location but room needs a deep clean and painting especially around skirting boards and bottom of bathroom door. Black hair in bath plug hole , my hair is not black ! Only one lift working and it was uneven to get in and out of , dangerous ! Disappointed I didn’t have a room on the north side with a better view. Not sure I would recommend this property unless rooms were better maintained.

Located over night markets with direct access to The Esplanade older hotel but well kept with new bathroom and very comfortable. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Kitchen would be better if equiped with a dishwasher.

A lovely welcome, great location. Spacious accommodation but a bit tired looking. More tea towels and even paper towel would have been good in the kitchen. I was over the car park which was quite noisy in the early morning when the garbage trucks turned up and recycling was done ( so take ear plugs).
