The staff is very friendly and we were very well treated. The rooms were ok but in one we couldn’t use the shower because it would flood the bathroom and the shower head didn’t work properly as well. Other than that we loved it and loved the pool as well as the location. Very central to everything. Had earlier check in and late check out too

The location and amenities are excellent, however the service fell well below expectations. I stayed for four nights, and housekeeping is not activated unless guests stay eight nights or more. During summer, this meant having to request clean linen and toilet paper. Housekeeping was also very loud when servicing neighbouring rooms, with doors constantly slamming. Overall, the experience felt more like dealing with a landlord than a hotel concierge, which detracted from the stay.

As a Cairns local I was looking forward to a couple of nights in town with my husband whilst we attended our Christmas parties. The room we felt was such a let down. The carpet was green from being sun bleached and dirty. It wasn’t until I opened the cupboard in the bedroom that I saw the colour it should be. The curtains were beyond dirty and the bathroom had noticeable water damage. The furniture had paint falling off and the couch itself needs a clean or replacement. The tv remote was disgusting and I didn’t even want to touch it. There were no towels in the room for the pool which I understand can be collected from reception but I think they should be available in the room. The lack of car parking is an issue and I wasn’t told when checking in that there was not assigned car parks like most locations. There was no map of the resort that showed access points such as through tower 3 ground floor through to tower 1 via the car park. There is no information book in the room instead you have to scan a QR code on the fridge. Not great for those that are older.
