My partner and I came up to Cairns for the weekend and just wanted to stay in the CBD area. We were greeted with a room upgrade and very friendly staff. We loved the room and wish we could have stayed longer, and would definitely stay there again next time we come to Cairns.

Booked via qantas as an 'add on' to flights, will never do it again as it cost way more than the advertised price and when I contacted the hotel to explain they said they couldn't do anything as it was not refundable. Also the 'hotel room' pictures of accommodation we're not available at booking and the bathroom has no where to hang towels which is important when you don't have daily room servicing and there is no exhaust fan which is also critical in a tropical environment. As soon as someone has a shower the room is fogged up and then unable to be used to apply make up etc. Other than that the pool was lovely and the central location of the accommodation was great. A shuttle service from the airport would also have been good.
