Plenty of comfortable sun lounges by the two perfect pools. Poolside butler service and food was excellent - loved the lavender scented cold towels and sorbet. Breakfast and especially dinner in the beachfront restaurant was delicious.

An amazingly luxurious break. Everything is wonderfully arranged, and all of the staff make you feel as though they're there just for you. The food is also to die for, and worth the cost. We now have an agreement with friends to return each year!

There's an understated elegance about The Reef House...you know it's 5 Star but it's subtle and welcoming. There's a hint of old colonial tropical grandeur in the architecture and traditions that doesn't impose but sits gently upon you. This is a resort with a history has been respected and merely embellished, the ritual 5pm (complimentary) canapes and rum punch at the Brigadier's Bar being one such example. The staff are consummate professionals, but combine that with an engaging, responsive warmth that puts you completely at ease. The dining experience whether at the a la carte breakfast, lunch or dinner is splendid, food beautifully prepared and presented. The beachfront setting amongst the towering palms and ancient melaleucas is of course incomparable. Above all the signature "Adults Only" concept is brilliant, making for a totally relaxing ambience. We met one couple that has been returning to The Reef House for forty years and we can understand why.

We had a lovely relaxing time at The Reef House. The staff are all amazing. The inclusions such as yoga, cocktail making and canapes and punch everyday was awesome. The bed was super comfy and our room was spacious with a great balcony overlooking the beach. The food is delicious. Palm Cove is a lovely village with amazing restaurants. Thank you to the staff at The Reef House.

The service was impeccable at the resort. The staff super friendly. The facilities also phenomenal. The rooms are pretty big and the balcony is spacious. Only complaint I have is the shower was too small. I think the location is perfect. We were doing activities in Cairns and Port Douglas — so it was nice to be right in the middle of both towns. If you need a rest day from activities, you’ll be more than happy to stay at the resort all day. Breakfast & Coffee were awesome, too.
