As always loved our stay at Palm Cove. Noticed a bit of shabbiness creeping in.Probably post COVID, tropical weather and need for more money to be spent. E.g safety sign at swimming pool needs to be replaced.

Seven-night stay in a 3-bedroom ensuited apartment overlooking the pool April 2024. Overall pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and the apartments are situated in a reasonable location being only a short 10 min walk to town. Plenty of fantastic restaurants in town and an enclosed swimming area, also a long jetty in town for those who want to throw a line. We stayed here two years ago however we noticed this trip that the hotel is getting a little tired, block out curtains worn, pebbles in the pool have lifted in areas and the shade cloth over the large step where little children can play was missing. On day two, we reported that the air conditioner in the second bedroom was blowing air that was not cold, they did come same day to assess the issue and although they said that they would send a service person, this did not occur. We had a small child staying in the apartment and it was necessary to close the bedroom door during sleep time making this a hot room to sleep in. We also reported that neither of the bathrooms had a lockable latch on them, this was also not attended to. Sometimes it's the small things that help make a stay comfortable and I feel that some of the unit problems could have been addressed fairly easily. We would definitely go again as this was a very relaxing holiday location within easy drive to Port Douglas/PD Marina/Cairns airport.

Access to all areas of the Wet Tropics and the Atherton Tablelands are easy from this location. Palm Cove has some excellent restaurants and cafe's as well as a good beach for the area.

Very nice clean spacious apartment, nice pool area. Walk into the village of palm cove, plenty of cafes and restaurants with good food. All the staff were friendly and helpful. You definately need a car for this resort as no public transport.
