The actual stay was ok as far as it went. Palm Cove has many restaurants and bars as well as a great beach area and is close to many tourist attractions. The downside for me is that while everyone wants to be there for you UP UNTIL YOUR MEETING, as soon as you say you won’t be adding to your membership, you are discarded like yesterday’s laundry!! The sales presenter couldn’t get out of there fast enough when I said that I wouldn’t be able to go for more points. I’ve been with Accor since the beginning, when points were $1:47 each but the cost is now prohibitive on a single income, especially with maintenance costs going up each year. It was also brought to my attention that I have been unnecessarily charged for the Explorer membership as this is supposed to be included with my current level of membership. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with Accor as a whole and Travel & Leisure in particular.

Our family really enjoyed Sebel Palm Cove. We drove day trips to Hartley's, Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation, Cascade Falls, Tubing. Apartment was clean and we loved the pool and games

When the next soft upgrade is done I feel the shower floors need to be reviewed as the can get very slippery It might also help if there are grab rails in the shower and next to the toilets The upgrade to the WiFi was a great improvement The upgrade looked fantastic especially the floors

We enjoyed our stay as always. The cleaning needs to be a bit more thorough thought. Both ceiling fans have a lot of dust in them & there are multiple cobwebs on the walls. Also fly screen in the toilet & shower needs a good clean. Would be nice to have larger plusher towels considering the place is branded Sebel which is meant to be higher end. Lastly, check out at 10am seems a bit early. Pretty much every other place we stay at is at least 11am these days.

Easy check in, apartment well cleaned, maintenance team fixed the bin lid, welcome drink and Wednesday gathering both nice touches, additional chairs and lounges by the pool, not too much hassle hounding me for a sales pitch, pleasant and helpful reception staff, nice to catch up with Liz and Mark again.

Palm Cove has been my only destination with Accor and as I have been there three times in three years it goes without saying that it is an enjoyable destination. Making a booking, for me, is another story. The website is cumbersome and definitely not user friendly.

It is the second time we went to this resort, the apartments are fantastically refurbished. It was a pleasure to stay there. It was nice years ago when we went the first time, but now it's superb. we enjoyed the unit itself, the quality of the furniture, bed, TV sets, bathroom, balcony. We liked the swimming pool, however the weather was not the best. It is quiet and very close to Palm Cove Esplanade, so despite of a rather mediocre weather, we had an enjoyable time, thank you.
