The rooms were comfortable, though certainly not plush. The walls were paper thin, allowing us to hear the family (and baby crying) next door even including the time they were booking their dinner at the pub. There is no minibar/room service, there is no cleaning service unless stay is beyond 7-8 days, the milk and tea/condiments required a separate run to reception, the toilet was an "open" concept with wooden shutters allowing view into the bathroom - but the problem was the shutters would not close, therefore allowing no privacy from view or noise while using the toilet. We were on the 3rd floor, only allowing stairs (if there were lifts I was not aware of their location) so elderly/handicapped/heavy luggage would make access difficult. Otherwise this was made up by its central location within Palm Cove and a large and central pool area that was sheltered from the occasional blustery winds.
