We had such a fabulous stay at Mantra Amphora. Maggie at reception went absolutely over and above to ensure we had a fantastic experience, helping with bags, early check ins, airport transfers and ensuring a portacot was ready in the room for us. As a solo parent trying to wrangle a toddler, pram and luggage on my own, I am so incredibly grateful for all her help. Will absolutely stay again

Gorgeous place, great location. Amazing amenities, something for everyone. Really did not want to leave. Reason for the 8/10 is due to the curtains having mould threw them in the main living area which I get its a tropical environment so this is hard to keep prevent this from happening, but when the black mould is visible, this should be an alarming sign to get them cleaned or replaced. Id hate to know what the air con filters were like, as I doubt they are deep cleaned regularly. The other reason for an 8/10 is the cleanliness of the rooms. I turned the exhurst fan and light on for the rangehood and was mortified about the amount of oil on the tiles behind the stove top, which clearly hadnt been cleaned in a while. I personally would never let oil build up to the same degree and ended up cleaned it off myself, as I couldn't stand to look at it. The bathrooms hadn't been cleaned properly with sand and dirt in a gew places and there was markings all over the tile floor in the main living area. I do hope that the cleaning standards are looked into, and especially the mould as that can be deadly to someone health especially those with respiratory issues.

Check in was late however we enjoyed our New Years there :)
