Our family had 2 rooms, both were warm... hotel staff told us that the aircons only worked if we set them to 24 degrees. We followed their instructions, but the aircons still only blew out very weak cool air. The sleepings became very uncomfortable. After daily activities in Cairns' tropical, warm weather, we hoped to get some restful sleep in a well-air-conditioned room. Unfortunately, these rooms are nothing close to that.

Overall we enjoyed our stay but the rooms were required to stay at a specific temperature and we felt it was not a comfortable one for sleeping, especially with the hot and humid weather.

I like to try a different hotel in Cairns each visit but gravitate towards the inner city hotels.
