First time in Cairns, I was greeted in a friendly manner, forgot ly iphone charger home and asked at the reception, the Irish girl saved me and offered me charger. Other than that I like the bed as well, variety of TV channels and very very clean.

I stayed here for 2 nights then a further night as part of a package booked for me. From the beginning the staff in reception were warm and welcoming. I was initially met by Evan who was helpful and gave me all the informatiom i could need even that he was a spurs fan haha. Travelling solo and flying in from the uk meant i was all over the place with my sleep so i would go through reception to go for a late night walk where i first met Kellyann. A friendly chatty irish lady who put up with me standing chatting for long periods of time. On the night shift (after 11pm) was probably one of the nicest people i have met for a long time. Eolia was again friendly with a wicked sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is what you would describe as cheap and cheerful. The rooms i stayed in were a good size, clean and had everything you would need. The hotel was not helped by the fack the restaurant is closed for a referb but breakfast can be had at a nearby hotel and you can also get a discount at a fantastic steak house 100m down the road. In all i would dwfinatly stay here again and all staff are a credit to themselves and to the hotel 10/10

Really well located hotel to explore Cairns. Close to the restaurants but far enough away that it was peaceful. Staff were really helpful. Great option for your Cairns stay.

While we only stated 1 night, there were a few things that would deter me from extending a stay again. The airconditioning was average, barely making the room cool. Also check in was ok, however i was charged extra for being "lucky" enough to have the room ready on arrival, as we were there early. I did not request early check in and would have been happy to leave my bags at reception. I would imagine this would be significantly more work for the reception staff, tagging bags and securing them away, than actually having us throw them in the room. The restaurant was under renovation, no.problem, but the recommended alternative was also closed.
