Got caught in Cairns thank to a flight cancellation, local team were good to deal with. Had a very early check out and left something behind. This was picked up by the team and they assisted in getting it back to me.

I stayed 3 days and found the hotel room comfortable and agree with other comments that the bathroom was small. The hotel was in a good location, easy walk to the Esplanade. Service was very good and I enjoyed a swim in the pool.

Whe I checked into the room the toilet had feaces right to the top of the bowl I was so shocked who would leave a toilet like that for the next guest I took a photo of the toilet and went down to the reception and showed the receptionist and asked to speak to the manager but was told he was not there so I asked for house keeping but they had all gone home and then I asked for another room but they were fully booked so I said I will not be sitting on that toilet then she said there was no one else there except her so she said she would have to close the reception and clean the toilet and that is what happened. I have been with Accor 18 years and never encountered such filth I would like the manager from this hotel to get In touch and check with the girl that was in the reception at the time because I did not enjoy my room 1 bit. A $220 room left in that state is just not on.

Terrible stay with noise from other rooms and outside in the carpark below the rooms at all hours of the night. Not hot water at night and in the morning and the only lift was out of service on one occasion. This seems like a hostel accommodation rather than used on business trips.
