Will come back , beautiful breakfast to start the day. All meals very enjoyable. Lovely friendly staff makes a stay great. All the gardens and landscaping very good, pool was fantastic child friendly plus good for adults.Rooms good very clean. Needed a good holiday and got one thank you.

Check in was very good, quick and when I asked for a room with specific needs, they were happy to accommodate me. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. I found the ironing board and iron came in handy with hangers in the wardrobe. There were plenty of towels, extra pillows, a hair dryer and toiletries. A suggestion: Perhaps a coffee machine with the option to purchase pods, fresh milk and sugar would have been appreciated. Which brings me to my next point. Very disappointed with the room service. I called at 06:30am for a coffee to be brought to my room. I was told "There is an extra $5 surcharge on purchases under $14, or you could just walk down here and get it". I found this a bit rude, how I choose to spend my money and what I spend it on is my business. A suggestion: Put this clause on the menu and then leave it up to the client to decide. At 07:10am, I still had not received my coffee. I called again, and asked for my latte. I got an apology, and 10 minutes later it turned up. Trouble was, it was not a latte, and there was no sugar in it as I requested. I will fill the gaps, I am hyperglycemic, and experience dizziness when my blood sugar is low. this usually happens on waking up in the morning. I had stupidly forgot to keep some juice in the fridge, and I had used up all the sugar from the days before. I didn't trust myself to get in the lift (induces vertigo when I am dizzy) to go and get a coffee. Subsequently, it took longer for the sugarless coffee to do its job, and I was late for work. I have resolved to bring my own coffee supplies on my next trip, as I will no longer support Moku. As a guest, I don't need to explain myself or what my motives are for ordering room service, however, both times I have had to stay at Novotel, I felt that when I ordered room service I was a hindrance on the restaurant. Incidentally, I did not patronise them further, and got my meals from elsewhere. The previous stay I had there, there were issues with Moku. I chose not to complain. This is now the second time, so they obviously need the feedback. Both times involved long delays on room service orders. Check out was also very good. The only problem was that someone had charged an alcoholic beverage to my room number. This was not me, I am a teetotaler, and do not consume alcohol based products. A suggestion: When anything is charged to a room number, perhaps the purchaser should show their room key card which can be scanned to confirm they actually belong to that room. My last suggestion is that parking should be built into the overall room tariff. I often need to travel to Cairns for work, and am willing to stay at Novotel again.

Recently I had the pleasure of taking a short break, choosing Cairns and district for my destination. I chose the Novotel for several reason - past experience, as well as location. I had a wonderful room overlooking the pool area. It was a spacious room, well equipped and perfectly clean and comfortable. I dined in the restaurant at the hotel on several nights, and also ordered room service on another evening. All my meals were well presented and delicious.

As always, the Cairns Oasis Resort never fails to impress. From the cleanliness to the warmth of ALL the staff that work there. They are all equally as important. This place is pretty much my home away from home & its lovely to see the same happy faces every time I stay. I also enjoy all the benefits of being an Accor member (which was FREE to join). I get a free drink on arrival & free wifi. I feel very confident that when i book my stay, i am in the best of hands.

We stayed in a suite which had a small kitchen facility, however there were no cutlery or crockery provided so we had to walk downstairs to grab bowls ect. We wanted to order some ice cream for the kids using room service however we couldn't get through on the phones so we just ordered through uber eats.

Great location ... Very clean and safe rooms. The pool is the best. Food reasonably priced example 300g steak night $19. You can walk to everything nearby. Plenty of food options. Walk to pier for Barrier Reef activities. Shopping centres nearby.

Staff were very good. Room 481 bathroom was mouldy (tiles were grubby) and hair on floor which we assume means the bathroom was not swept. Tiles out the front of the lift entry on our floor were also grubby (very stained perhaps even with chewing gum) and need a thorough steam clean or something. Exterior of building is looking shabby and that too needs a steam clean or paint. The pool is missing some some paint on the bottom of it. Breakfast was quite acceptable but dinner was only average in our opinion and could not recommend to anyone to dine there. I have travelled extensively all over the world and your hotel is the only one that I have ever encountered where I could not purchase a "Corona" beer.

Disappointing stay

Beds are needing replacement in at least four of your rooms. The first two nights we put up with a squeaky bed but after a very cranky night, We were given keys to four different rooms to get a room with a bed that did not make a lot of noise and every bed In every room was the same. In fact one room had twin beds and they both squeaked too. They all made noises. I have video of two of the rooms if you want to see and hear it yourself. We were eventually upgraded to a suite on level six and the bed there had no issues. The pillows are unbelievably bad as well. They are so thick and hard, it was impossible to sleep with them. Found two spare hard pancake pillows in cupboard which were marginally better as they were not so thick. I slept using a folded up towel. Not a good look. There is no Information in the rooms about how to access internet, order meals, etc. not even a pen and paper. No complimentary bottled water until we were upgraded. For a hotel that is advertising a big program of upgrades, we were so disappointed and would never recommend the hotel. Beds are king and your beds are sorely in need of replacement. We were so disappointed with our three night stay.

We travelled as a couple and stayed at the Novotel Oasis for 3 nights. We had a deluxe pool view room which was great with a large king sized comfortable bed. The hotel is in a great location and only a short walk to many attractions, bars and restaurants. The pool was great but more seating in needed in shaded areas or more umbrellas.

mostly positive a bit disappointed with the slowness of the dinner service and the quality of the food. Breakfast was a much more efficient service and the food choices were much better. The place typically offers a buffet so I was disappointed that I could only order one drink at breakfast and was then charged for additional drinks. Also disappointed that we unable to get a bowl of danishes/ fruit for the table considering the buffet experience. The pool area in which we were unable to buy drinks because the service was incredibly slow. I think I waited close to 20 minutes at the swim- up to bar. As a result, we decided to take our own drinks but then were asked to remove them. In room 134- the aircon from above was leaking which made the patio area very slippery and unusable with small children.
