I booked a suite 601 and was placed out from of lift on 6 floor. From 6 am to about 10 there was a whistling sound coming from the ceiling in the bath bedroom area when the lift operated. Also there was no coffee table in the room which made it difficult to sit and watch tv with a drink and food. I am a gold member Accor and this stay pushed me to platinum. I stay in cairns often and it was my first at this hotel, the pool area was very busy with non hotel guests ( understand that there is a $15 dollar use fee for non guests which I get given costs to run a hotel) The food and service of the team at the bars and grill was excellent thank you. It was more of the room that I was disappointed in. The hotel is in a great location and the staff are very diligent.

No bottle water in room, had to ask twice & only recieved on second day. A very loud function in the fuction room right next door, wasn’t made aware of this. Guests of this function walking in front of our room to smoke & vape throughout the evening. We had a late checkout but cleaners still trying to enter our room and pressure us to get out.
