This hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes from the Esplanade. The staff were all lovely and helpful, and the pool, bars, and food were excellent. Our room was cosy and had a great view over the pool area. I did have a few small issues. None of them would necessarily affect my rating on their own, but they did start to add up over a week-long stay. After about the third day, we were getting pretty tired of the loooong waits for the elevator to our room before eventually realising that one of the two elevators wasn’t running at all. There was never any signage to let guests know, and at times the wait could be a couple of minutes, which became pretty frustrating. The bathroom door handle in our room was also in need of some maintenance. Soundproofing could definitely be better as well. The doors and walls seem quite thin, so it was very easy to be woken by guests talking in the hallway or doors closing. One morning, cleaners were also vacuuming a nearby room just after 7am, which felt far too early given how easily noise carries between rooms. The pool rules are clearly displayed, but unfortunately they don’t seem to be enforced at all. People would reserve loungers with towels from around 8am and sometimes not actually return to use them until 11am or even later. There were also clearly children using the pool area without parents present, despite the rules stating otherwise. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and there’s a lot to like about the hotel, but a bit more attention to these smaller issues would have made the experience much better.

Probably one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, placed in a room that had zero sunlight facing a high wall, we had a cleaners storeroom beside our room which was functioning from about 6am to 9pm daily constant strollers, banging and slamming noises interfering our sleep, our room was not cleaned in the morning we had a cleaner attempt at 5pm when getting ready to go out? Had to call reception multiple times to get our towels refreshed, had to be at the pool by 9 am to get ourselves somewhere to sit, the gym was enough for one person to train at a time not enough space or equipment. When taking a shower the whole bathroom would get wet due to poor draining and shower screen coverage. Toilet constantly smelt. It was our baby moon and we definitely wont be coming back. I was expecting more from a 4 start hotel, I think you should be re graded, I rate you guys 3 stars maximum.
