We stayed for 2 Nights and 2 Rooms. Both bathrooms are all mouldy and have creaked tiles. The air-conditioning doesn't cool down the rooms even when set to 18 degrees and high power. The hotel it self is looking very ran down. Not just the rooms but the external building. I noticed the drainage on the roof has a tree growing out of it. Broken pavements on the walk ways . We booked were staying there with some friends who total of another 4 rooms and they all complained about the same issues.

Booked for a week , overall stay was a wonderful experience, have to give a big shout out to Elizza on reception who was friendly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived at 11.am with 10 oversized bags to check in .. And though out our stay was the receptionist we waited for .. Thank you Elizza. Melanie on breakfast an other welcoming personality who was happy to engage. The rooms were well stocked and cleaned and staff were friendly.. We ate at the Bbq ..really nice and good quality meat.. Enjoyed the swim up bar Also had a pizza for dinner..also nice If we had to have a negative on our week .. it would be the bar staff !! Poor service..very off handed .,especially as we had stayed for a week ..and were there most days for a few drinks before we went out and were never acknowledged , over the 7 days we stayed 5 of the staff were on shift. a stand out for lack of skills and not knowing what beers were on tap ..and then having no idea how to pour one or any cocktails ..or wine ,was Ren ..,he didn’t care or couldn’t care ..not sure which .. But overall had a lovely stay And will recommend to friends and family.,and next time we are in Cairns will stop by

This was our second stay at Novotel Oasis. Staff are friendly, location is fantastic. We love the pool, vibe and swim up bar. Buffet breakfast is good. The food off the menu was okay, not bad but nothing made us want to go back for more. Hotel is well maintained and clean. Will def come back one day for a third stay.
