Ibis Calais was on our way to Paris after crossing the channel, we checked in late and continued our journey the next morning. Staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, decently sized and functionnal. All went smoothly: we were lucky there were availability in the car park (since there isnt much space to park around the hotel due to the market the next day), walk the doggies around the block, have a beer at the bar and wind down before going to bed.

On my arrival there was only one person working. So ever thing was slow from checking in to service at the bar. Some customers left the bar. Because of poor service. I waited 15 minutes for service at the bar as the person working was no were to be seen.

We were travelling with family from Montreuil-sur-Mer to Calais for one night. The hotel is well located for our preferred restaurant and the next morning not too far from Le Shuttle terminal. We have used this hotel many times and find the price and location make it a very good choice.
