My requirement was a bed for the night close to Calais with secure bike parking (for a good price), accessible to the main roads and the town centre, and that's exactly what I got. Room (facing the back) was spotlessly clean and quiet. There are no luxuries but you get what you pay for. And thanks to Ibis (the other one) there's a restaurant open on Sundays/Mondays where Ibis Budget customers get a 5% discount. I haven't stayed in an Ibis before, but wouldn't hesitate to do so to have a similar experience.

We stopped in st omer overnight on our way back to the Uk, room was as expected, we booked breakfast to make life easier in the morning. Very disappointed with the quality and selection I will not be booking breakfast again with Ibis express

No catch on shower door, kept waiting at reception, room window opened fully ( on third floor) bit dangerous, towels were too small for an adult, room in desperate need of a dusting.

Price was very good so would suit if on a budget. The bed was clean and comfortable. However the room was a bit grim. Very basic with plastic chair and cold led lighting. The bathroom was a plastic wet room and the curtain was missing so inevitably everything in the bathroom got wet. The toilet flush went on for over a minute (I timed it as at first I thought it was stuck but it did it every time). For a cheap night passing through it works.

A basic hotel, good value, friendly team, 15 min walk from centre of town, lovely breakfast coffee. Rooms were clean but tired. The hotel has the feel of a youth hostel. Easy parking.

The cleanliness and decour was lacking! Duvet and sheets stained, carpets in the room halls filthy. Fire extinguisher hanging off the wall. Stayed in IBIS budget before! This place made me decide never again...

When we arrived it l9oked okay from the outside area was okay but as soon as we went into the room it was awful not clean and only 2 pillows for a family of 3 my son also banged his head on the sink asked reception for some ice and they said they didn't have anything to help in hand for his bump and there was also shouting outside our room and scared my son and was scared of someone coming in our room I wouldn't recommend this as a family hotel and more of a hostel.

Have stayed here many times when travelling, good location for the Channel Tunnel. Rooms are clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Free and secure car park. Short walk into the town which has plenty of restaurants. Excellent breakfast, would recommend.

Booked online via the accor website arriving and checked in ok and was given a room on the first floor. I was travelling alone and had to make multiple trips to the room to deposit luggage. On my second trip I was told that I had been checked into the wrong room. My room was on the third floor. Not a big problem. During the night, there was a considerable amount of door slamming and excessively loud talking in the main corridor outside my room. Again not a huge issue but when traveling you check into a hotel for rest and when you don't get this it ruins the experience.
