Better designer needed

undiscerning TripAdvisor review

Good position near the city centre but there are a couple of design flaws. The bathroom and toilet is often too small in these places; this time, the toilet paper was behind the, ahem, customer and very hard to reach; then, ahem, effective wiping was impeded by the sink. The other problem is the size of the breakfast room; the first morning, people were queueing up for tables. We came down earlier on subsequent days. Good breakfast, though.

Thank you for your message. We've just redesigned the bathrooms and I'd be delighted to hear your suggestion on where to put the toilet paper. For breakfast, in fact, on long weekends, coming earlier or later is the only solution we can offer at the moment, avoiding the 8:30-9:30 slot.

We have stayed in this motel a good number of times over the last twenty years and have been happy with it, but the room we had this time was very tired and looking dated, especially the bathroom. the toilet took ages to flush, the toilet seat was falling off, the sink basin surface was deteriorating and did not look at all hygienic also the tap and shower were both in a poor condition. using the bathroom was not a pleasant experience. also someone had been smoking in the room and it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. on the positive side the receptionist was pleasant and helpful and the room and bed was clean.
