It's cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. But it's literally 3 beds (inc one on the mezzanine) and a sink. You have to pee in a cubical down the hall. If you want a shower, it's 3 Euro per bath towel. And although you secure the booking with your card, if you don't pre-check-in by 12.30pm (remembering the time zone difference) and arrive late, just hope you bought your physical card and know the pin. If not, you're locked out. We left early. No breakfast - it's all locked up. Cancelled the return stay, it felt a bit like being in prison.

We have this stop now well established in our way back home before crossing the Channel. Rooms are comfortable and make the job very well for a night, despite having shared toilets that most of the times are well cleaned (there are always customers that don't care much about where they pee, you know, but that's not the hotel's fault). Super handy to the Shuttle and the nearby boulangerie.

This was my first time at an F1 (I regularly use other Accor brand) and feel that it is almost cheap for the sake of being cheap. If you’re just after as low a cost as possible, then it is a good option - but be aware that the mattresses are mattress pads rather than sprung mattresses (feels more like sleeping on a futon). I would have been happy to use the brand again if the bed had been more comfortable (the small room/shower room was fine).

We arrived in the early hours of the morning, after a late night tunnel crossing. F1 is just a few minutes drive from Le Shuttle. It was a simple process to get the code for our room and access into the secure carpark. The room was clean and had everything we needed for us to get a few hours sleep before the long journey ahead. It was perfect for our needs and for the price.

I don’t normally complain or leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our stay at hotelF1 Coquelles was disappointing enough that I feel it’s important to share our experience. The reception staff were welcoming and polite, which prevented me from giving the hotel an even lower rating. Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. It was very small, and the sink was dirty, particularly in the corner. The radiator was visibly stained yellow, while the walls had noticeable discolouration marks, making the room feel poorly maintained and in need of a thorough clean and refresh. The shared toilet and shower facilities were also disappointing. The toilet floors were always wet, and the showers looked dirty and unhygienic. Due to concerns about cleanliness, we chose not to use the showers at all. The biggest issue, however, was the temperature in the room. No matter what we tried, it was impossible to cool the room down, making it extremely uncomfortable. We were unable to sleep properly because of the conditions, and ultimately decided to check out early. We had also booked breakfast, but unfortunately didn’t stay for it because we had been unable to sleep in the uncomfortable room. The friendly and polite reception staff were the one real positive, but unfortunately the poor cleanliness, condition of the room and shared facilities, and the inability to get a comfortable temperature made this a very disappointing stay. As someone who doesn’t normally complain, I was particularly disappointed to feel that we had no choice but to leave early.

Good value for money. Bring flip flop for shower. Towel is provided free of charge. Request a baby coat with receptionist when booking and it will be in your room. Sleep 2 adults, one 7 years old and a 2 years old comfortably. Breakfast, bed comfort and location for a family of four is perfect.

I left the hotel in the afternoon after a member of staff used the code for my room to access the room without reason while I was in there. He claims he knocked, but did not do so - I had no chance to get off the bed and put some clothes on before he opened the door. I expect an apology and a full refund of the cost of the room.
